Not honest
I dropped my 2002 Nissan Xterra off on April 10th in the morning. That afternoon I was called and told that it's a transmission problem and they do not do transmission work so I have to take it somewhere else. I asked them if they checked the transmission fluid and they said they did. I picked the car up the next day and ended up paying a fee of $48 I believe for a diagnostics check. I drove my car to another place that had serviced my vehicle previously and I forgot to tell them Henry's had checked the trans fluid I just told them that Henry said it was a transmission problem. They called me about 2 or 3 hours later and told me my car was 2 1/2 quarts low on transmission fluid. They told me that there was a small dripping in a hose and that they would repair it and test drive it to see if that helped. I called Henry's back and told them what I was told and the first thing they did was try to blame this other service shop by saying why didn't they check that previously when you had it there. I said that's beside the point you told me you checked the transmission fluid and it was two and a half quarts low and the other service shop is only about 6 minutes away from them and I'm sure my vehicle did not lose two and a half quarts of transmission fluid driving it from Henry's to the other shop. The reason the other shop didn't check it was because it wasn't running as bad as it was when I took it to Henry's. It had been over 3 weeks since I took it to the other shop and they did drive it numerous times and it wasn't acting up like it was when I finally decided to take it elsewhere and unfortunately went to Henry's. So today I got a call saying the car is fixed. He said he cannot guarantee that this will work permanently but he said that it is driving much better and not hesitating like it was. They said that if I end up having to get another transmission the price for the transmission and labor would be $2300, which is fantastic because I had been calling around and got quotes of $5000. The other thing that bothers me about Henry's is on their website under services that they provide it indicates transmission. I asked them about that when I went to pick my car up and he said we only put in new transmissions. Funny, they don't know how to check a transmission fluid leak but they can put in new transmission. I would not trust these guys at all. I read the reviews before I brought my car there and I noticed that the people that complained about them they always get a clap back from Henry's, so bring it on Henry's, I'm ready for it. Because I cannot give it zero stars I gave it one star because they're good at taking people's money for diagnostic test and don't do anything else.
