Do not stand behind there vehicles
Purchased truck in 2024 brand new. I should have noticed the red flags but trusted them and that was a poor decision. My sales rep was busy at the time and asked if I could drive the same truck in a different color as he didn't have time to go get mine. I agreed as they were both brand new. Once back I decided to proceed with the purchase and asked to see the truck and was told it was in the shop getting detailed and finial inspection completed. I then continued with and finished all paperwork. At that time, I was notified that my truck had an issue with the "Radio" and they would deliver it to me the following day and I took a loaner home. Over a week later and after several phone calls I finally got my truck delivered to me. They forgot to put the stock tires back in the truck which were then driven down by the sales rep a few days later. Good deed on the sales rep part. Fast forward to this week I get an email from ITM asking me if I would be interested in trading in my truck. I asked them for an estimated value and get a response of due to the recall process not being started he cannot sell the vehicle right now and doesn't know how long he will be sitting on it. The letter GM sent said to hold off as there is nothing they can do at this time and to wait for another letter. I then asked, "so you don't stand behind a truck you sold me a year ago?" His response was: "Brian, I can't sell a vehicle with an open recall. Best of luck at another Chevrolet dealership as well as any GM store. I recommend doing a little research into a recall before you're upset with us about the situation. Wish you the best of luck moving forward." Pretty much you're telling me I am stuck with a truck that they sold me and are not going to stand behind. Not the type of dealership I would suggest working with as they don't stand behind the products they sell.
