Outstanding service
Great people- professional and thorough- one excellent reason to bring your vehicle here even for routine maintenance- they check many things and give you a full readout. If there is anything needed outside of what the initial request was they always call first and explain everything. Can’t recommend the strongly enough.

Fast, affordable, and excellent service!
My wife and I are new to Downers Grove, and needed a shop to service our 2015 Honda Accord. J&C was very accommodating, willing to help us at a moment's notice. Furthermore, they were communicative, proactive, and helpful when answering questions. (Also, I love the customer pickup/ drop-off service--saved us some Lyft fees!)

I can't recommend J&C highly enough!

Always fair and honest!
Took my car for an oil change, and instead of getting the usual call halfway through the day saying “here are the 10 things you need done right now or else…” they called to see your car is ready. Upon pick up they presented me with suggestions of what I could be doing for ongoing maintenance, prepared in writing and discussed in person…but they did not try to crowbar any of this into my “already in the shop” service appointment. It’s honesty and integrity like this that make Mike and his team at J and C Auto Service among the best of the business.

And to be fair, there have been times in the past where once they got the car disassembled it made sense to do some of that work, and they did call and asked me if I wanted it done, mostly because it saved me labor since the car was in progress… but unlike some other places which hold your hostage once your car is in their shop, rest assured, this is NOT one of them.
