CAN'T THANK THEM ENOUGH
I took my vehicle in for a second opinion at Joe's after another Winona shop told me I needed 1600.00 in repairs. Joe's did a FREE inspection and found that I needed 850.00 in repairs. I was very happy to hear this and had them perform the work. Everything went smooth and the shuttle service was great. Thanks again to the team at Joe's.

The front desk staff and mechanics were wonderful to work with. I was told by another shop that I needed repairs that were very expensive, I went to joes for a second opinion and was pleasantly surprised when they told me I needed about a third of the repairs that I was told I needed from another shop. I will be a long term customer from now on. Great job everyone at Joe’s.

The staff at Joe's Auto in Winona MN are the best. They have helped me out a number of times most recently with the crappy cooper tires I had bought not too long ago from Fleet Farm that would not hold air. They got the new firestone tires on and I have not had a low tire pressure light on since. They went above and beyond to get the tires on the car on a very busy day. Thank you!

I took my car to Joe auto and tire because I had a coolant leak. They looked at it and called me back and quoted me over $900. I already had an idea of the problem before I took it in and looked the part up online and called parts stores, the part is right around $100, add in 2 hose clamps and some coolant maybe looking at a grand total of around $150 for parts. The job could probably be done in 2 hours or less. I called the dealership and they will do the whole job parts, labor and everything else for around $300. They wanted to over charge me by $600 for such an easy job. Save yourself the money and hassle and just go somewhere else.

Complete Rip-Off - Go Elsewhere!
This place is nothing but a sheer and utter scam. They quoted me $700 for an alternator replacement and a new battery, seeing as the existing one was "shot" and "a Walmart special" according to the mechanic. $195 for a new battery to replace a superior grade one installed by AAA themselves? $500 to fit a new alternator that I could've purchased myself at the parts store for $141? I don't think so. I'm not sure if these guys thought I was ignorant or just flat out stupid, but I could smell their scam from the get-go. I had my car towed to another, far more reliable and HONEST garage in town, only after I refused to pay Joe's for a BS diagnostic test that I was told was complimentary along with the quote. Paid $230 for the full repair at the other shop - 1/3 of Joe's. Explain to me how that is possible. Oh and that "Walmart special" battery? The other shop ran a full battery test on it and found it to be performing at over 100%, better than it's given rating. I only went to Joe's because I was told that they are the trusted provider of AAA - you can guarantee that AAA will be informed on the business practices that this joke of a garage exhibits.

Unreliable And Rip-Off Winona Store
Three days after having an oil change noticed puddles in several spots on the garage floor. Brought the car to a local Toyota dealer to locate the source of the oil leak. Determined it was a missing washer on the oil drain plug. Consequently, this inattentiveness cost me another synthetic oil change. The same time I had the oil change at Joe's Auto, I was informed of needing new rear brake pads. Ask for pricing and quoted a lot higher than the Toyota dealer. Don't trust your car to this place.
