I have never experienced such a horrible experience then I have with here, nobody calls you back , it takes forever for anyone to call me back , I keep getting the run around on how long my car is going to be there . Just once they are done with my car I will never being going back

I have been calling for 2 1/2 weeks to cancel a road hazard assistance that nobody can seem to return my call on I’ve sent several emails and nobody cares to respond because I only have 10 days to cancel and I started calling four days after I purchased the truck that I have completely over paid for a 2017 100,000 miles $36,000

Over three hours to sweep out cabin air filter area that they replaced prior, never again.
I've been in there a few different times. I had some minor issues with someone not returning a call about a recall question. I let that go. I took my car in for the recall fix, oil change. They said I needed a cabin air filter and a few other things but nothing major. I agreed to the cabin air filter. Had a loud humming noise after I left and then the engine light came on which it has never done since I've owned it for about three years. They said to bring it back in and that sometimes the area around the air cabin filter needs debris swept out. I sat for over 2 hours before asking if my car is even in yet because I was going to leave (as I watched many other customers come and go). Over THREE hours later, it's finally swept. Said engine light is from a sensor (never had my light on until I took it there) and then a quote for a laundry list of repairs over $2600 needed that, funny enough, wasn't mentioned three weeks ago when I "had nothing major". I was only there for them to fix what they did the first time. Oddly enough, every person in the waiting room said they had the same problem with their engine light coming on after getting it service there. Total waste of my time. I'll go elsewhere.

Left for dead in the water by Hyundai Customer Service - buyer beware
My car would not start at 4:35 p.m. in downtown Akron on 10/5. I spent 20 minutes with Hyundai representative Marie via phone trying to reach someone in the service department to help me trouble shoot a problem that I thought was with my key fob. She was unable to reach a customer service rep or a manager of the department to help me trouble shoot my problem. I told her I was afraid and in an unsafe location as evening approached. I asked if I could talk to another Hyundai office to help me troublesheet. She said no, and mentioned their sister store Nissan. I asked her to contact a CSR in Nisan and there was the same problem - no one to help. She transferred me to road side assistance. I left a message and NO ONE returned my call. I called HONDA for assistance and they helped me trouble shoot and I learned the problem was a dead battery. Called CSR Hank at Hyundai on 10/6 and learned that the office was open until 6 p.m. on 10/5 - no reason someone couldn't be reached yesterday between 4:35 and 4:55 p.m.
I complained that Hyundai left me for dead in the water on 10/5 when I needed their help to troubleshoot and asked for credit on my account since there was still a warranty on the battery they installed 37 months ago and I needed replaced 10/5. He said the CS manager would call me to discuss the issue and so far, 10/8, no phone call.
I could not count on Ron Marhoffer to help me, a woman alone in downtown Akron as evening approached, an emergency situation in my view, and then I could not count on them to follow up with me afterward as I requested during my phone call with Hank on 10/6.
I have lost all incentive to purchase another vehicle from Ron Marhoffer, regardless of the fact that I have been a customer for over 21 years. Buyer beware!

GOOD SALES TEAM BUT SUPER INSENSITIVE SERVICE TEAM...
This is my second bad experience with this dealership. First, I had to waste 4 hours at their service center in Green for my truck to be cleaned which they did a bad job: upon having extended warranty I have to personally clean my truck again. Now, I just called in for normal factory schedule maintenance at 7500 miles and was told to wait in November 18,2021 for a common oil change. So I do not have to drive to work or take my kids to school? Like seriously! Am so disappointed that they cannot find any nearby affiliated dealer to even do a common oil change which am entitled to.

We bought a vehicle from them with 47,000 and within a year the engine gave out because the previous owner didn't change the oil. I called Ron Marhoffer to see if they would help me, but they basically told me that they don't care and it's not their problem.

Thus is the second vehicle purchased at Marhofer sales teams were great wish the same can be said for the service dept. They put down on the receipt that the wipers had been check left the lot started to rain wipers were leaving streaks. They took care of that problem quickly enough. But now can not get in for oil change or recall unless made on website. Not everyone has web access . Stopped to make an appointment on a rare day off sorry nothing available great last time I go there. It was not a friendly experience. Will purchase next Hyundai elsewere

Horrible service department
If it were possible I would give them lower than 1 star. In the past 24 hours, 4 different people including the service manager were supposed to call me back to get my car in for service. No one has contacted me. The issue with my car is a safety concern and the earliest they would get me in was two weeks after they found out it was warranty work and I did not want any additional services. I had to list my date of service as 7/13/2021 but the truth is, I received no service from them.

We have bought our last couple cars from Marhoffer in Green and the sales team is great. However, why would I buy my next car from them when I cannot get service when I need it? I'd rather go to a dealer with a better service department. We have recommended Marhoffer to many people but I won't again.
