Very Bad Customer Service
DO NOT TRUST THIS DEALERSHIP Unprofessional, Negligent, and Irresponsible Service

This has been the worst dealership experience I’ve ever had.

Last year, I brought my vehicle to Rydell Northridge for water damage repair, as water was leaking into the cabin and damaging the upholstery, particularly on the dashboard. The dealership claimed the issue was resolved and stated that the upholstery had been replaced.

One year later, after a rainy season, I discovered moisture all over the car again. When my mobile car wash guy cleaned the car, he found a large puddle of water under the passenger seat, and the new upholstery they supposedly installed was already damaged again, along with even worse damage throughout the interior.

I attempted several times to schedule a service appointment to have the issue checked, but was met with frustration and poor customer service. Only after demanding assistance over the phone did I get an appointment.

Once they inspected the vehicle again, they admitted the problem was due to seals that were never repaired the first time — meaning the original work was incomplete or improperly done. Yet, they only offered to cover 30% of the repair cost, despite acknowledging it was their oversight.

To make matters worse:
1. They admitted fault but refused to take full responsibility — only offering 30% coverage after admitting their error.
2. After an oil change, my oil life showed 92% instead of 100%, raising concerns about whether the service was actually performed properly.
3. Cups and trash were left inside my car, even though I dropped it off clean and empty — showing a complete lack of respect for customers’ property.
4. The car was returned to me with a Check Engine Light and other warning lights on, which were not present when I dropped it off.
5. I am now being charged storage fees, even though the car has not been fully repaired due to their own admitted mistake.

Because of this, I’ve had to escalate the issue to GM Corporate and am now seeking legal action. This entire situation has been stressful, costly, and unfair.

This service department has shown a shocking lack of professionalism and accountability. I no longer trust what happens to vehicles left in their care. Who knows if cars are being driven without permission or mishandled behind closed doors?

I own multiple vehicles from different dealerships and have never experienced such negligence. The way this dealership treats its customers is unacceptable, and I cannot recommend Rydell Northridge for anything sales, service, or otherwise.

Avoid this place at all costs.
