They’ll sell it if you don’t buy it asap
Highly recommend looking elsewhere for a vehicle. We were supposed to buy a vehicle from the and they sold it from underneath us an hour before our appointment. We first viewed a used dodge caravan on Tuesday the 17th and informed Bryan (a sales associate) that we would be back Friday with my husband to let him see the vehicle. Came in Friday 45 minutes before they were too close to let my husband drive it and inspect it and worked with Bob who was recommended by Bryan. We told Bob that we wanted it but wanted to give Bryan the common courtesy of getting our sale so we would be back the following day (Saturday) to buy it with Bryan. The next morning, we texted Bryan at 8am (they don’t open until 9) and stated word for word, “we want to purchase the Dodge Caravan and will be in at 1pm if that is still available. We would have come in once they opened but in an earlier message from Thursday, Bryan stated his first appointment was taken and 1pm was the first available. As we got our three kids into our current vehicle to take them to their grandparents while we came to purchase the car, we get a call from Bryan while we are pulling out of the driveway-an HOUR before our appointment-stating that he was sorry but the vehicle was sold that morning. When we were clearly upset, he didn’t have any words to say to us so we wanted to speak to the manager. When we spoke with Adam he thoroughly apologized and stated that he has no idea how that could have happened. After going around in circles about our frustration he stated he would look into their sister dealerships to see if there are any other caravans available or anything similar and would email us with the info. When we received the email it stated that both salesmen were under the assumption that we needed the night to think about our decision and sent us two vehicles that were significantly older than what we were to purchase as well as no where near the same mileage. He also sent me another vehicle, still not a dodge caravan, that was $6,000 than what we informed them we wanted to spend with a higher mileage than what we were looking for.

So all in all, they don’t have any sort of clear communication amongst their team, they will sell a vehicle out from underneath you even when you have an appointment, are only interested in selling you what they want to sell you-not what you want.

Poor service
I bought a 2013 Hyundai Sonata Hybrid Limited not from this place. I had a third party warranty on my car. After purchasing of this car the maintenance light came on. I took it to where I bought it but they couldn't figure out what was wrong. After a few days popping on and off. While on 465 my car stalled and said that the battery wasn't charging. I took it to where I bought the car and they were told by this place that it was the relay switch. That was replaced. Roughly a month later it did it again. The service people where I bought it brought my car here. They said that it needed an update on the programming. Then roughly a month later it did it again. I dropped my car off July 7th. After several phone calls they couldn't figure out what was wrong with my car. (They are the professionals.) I told them the conditions at which my car was stalling and saying the battery was not charging. They finally tested the battery. Come to find out it had a dead cell. This was now August they figured this our. They ordered the battery. By September after several phone calls and leaving messages. No call back. My dealership finally got a hold of someone. To find out that they ordered the wrong battery. Now it is September. I started calling them because I was getting tired of not having my car. When I finally got a hold of someone I was told mid October to late October. Around October 15th I called and I was told now they don't know when the battery was going to be in. November came and gone no update. By November 29th they finally said my car was done. I only had my car about a month again and the exact same thing is going on. I believe that they did not replace my battery. They just said it was done just to stop the calls but they took their $7000 for a brand new battery though. If you want no call back and voicemail after voicemail and now call backs. Then go ahead and take your car to them. Very poor service team. They have no professionalism at all. I barely was able to drive this car 6 months out of this entire year.

2020 Hyundai Sonata accident repair
I incurred some damage to the front right side of my auto earlier this year, back in early June. My experience with this organization was a big negative. I know that Covid had a big deal to do with staff shortages and supply chain issues, but WOW, what a mess this turned in to. Compounded by the fact that this organization was going through the sell by Terry Lee over to Penske's Auto Group and this only go worse. BIGGEST problem here (in my opinion) seems to revolve around information sharing internally, where one side doesn't communicate with the other side....the people who check you in don't talk to the service people doing the work. And, there is an obvious lack of training of their customer service representatives in terms of how to deal with customers. In the end, my car got fixed, which is what really matters, but the sheer aggravation of this whole experience leave me very leery about wanting to go back to this place when the next issue comes up. My #1 recommendation when dealing with this place is to absolutely make sure that they give you dates for completion of service or repair dates BEFORE you leave your car with them!

2020 Hyundai Sonata accident repair

Poor communication and trying to upsale
I took my daughter's car in because her air bag light came on and several private mechanic's refused to repair any issue with the air bag and said take it to the a dealer. Repairing whatever was necessary for the airbag was the only reason I scheduled the appointment and in scheduling the appointment no one discussed any other inspections to be performed. Fortunately, the airbag issue was covered by warranty but the dealership kept the car two days to apparently perform a bumper to bumper inspection and kindly provided me with a list of other "repairs" (alignment, filter replacement, etc. ) they could do in addition to what was covered by the warranty. When I explained to the lady calling that I only wanted the air bag fixed and nothing else, she seemed put off that I would not want them to make other "recommended" repairs. The whole experience was shady and I won't go to this dealership ever again.

Lack of communication.
I had to wait 6 days for them to look at my '05 accent that I bought there to charge my battery & look at a trunk latch issue. After having it towed in Cara ex2155 called me at 8:10 to discuss diagnostic. I told her what I wanted done & she said it would be done that day. I waited till 4 & left a message on flunky Cara's voice-mail & have not yet gotten a call back. Had to make an appointment at garage to look at my trunk latch to see if it was bent. Apparently Hyundai mechanics call only replace the whole unit so they can hose you out of $325. I bought the car there & have been happy with it & wonder if the service has gone down the drain after being purchased by Penske. It only takes a minute to call or email a customer. Because of your location I guess I'm stuck with you for now. I WILL NOT PURCHASE ANOTHER VEHICLE FROM YOUR DEALERSHIP OR RECOMMEND IT TO ANYBODY!!!

Always Excellent Service
I always get excellent customer service from everyone at Terry Lee. They take care of my car service needs in a timely manner and keep me informed along the way which I appreciate.
This particular visit I had Sylvia as my go to person. It was refreshing to see a young person with so much enthusiasm and love for her job and for her customers. She went above and beyond and I really appreciated it.
I would highly recommend the Hyundai vehicles as well. We’ve had 4 different models over the years both new and used and all have preformed very well.

Worst experience ever
We brought our car firstly on 03/02/2022 for oil change and maintenance requesting also to check for a noise we were hearing from the car. After 2 hours and more they did only the oil change saying did not had time to check the noise. We scheduled immediately another appointment for 03/08/2022 with the goal to find the issue with the noise, making sure we are safe driving it, getting an estimation on the price to fix it and how long we needed to wait and leave the car in the service to fix it. Again they kept the car for 2 hours and 30minutes with no communication on what was going on. We needed to leave to pick up our kids from the school and requested our car back from the advisor, and to come another day. The advisor was not giving any reliable information to my husband about the car situation. They also had deactivated the inside camera of our car during the entire time the car was in the service location. My husband was continuing to get the car back and leave. They told him the car was in another service location ?!
On top of that, the bill was $135 for an inspection/diagnosis??!! This value was not provided or stated by the advisor in any part of the estimation invoice information. How this can happen, especially when it was clearly told to the advisor since the begging that we needed first to figure out the issue with the car before deciding to do any work on it. We had the worst service this time including lack of communication, lack of transparency and clearly charging us unfairly for a non performed service at all. They used the situation that my husband did not well communicate in English language. In addition, a complete incompetent response from their service manager when we informed him about all this situation. We have been their customer since 2019 when first purchased the car in their dealership. This is the last time we go to this location. It was a very bad experience. Shame on the service that this advisor “provided” to us as their customers!!!
