PREDATORY BUSINESS USE CAUTION-BEWARE: I am extremely disappointed and disturbed by my family's experience with this business. My 77-year-old mother brought her vehicle in on August 19, 2026 for what was supposed to be a routine oil change. She was told that her oil pump was leaking and needed to be replaced. She trusted their recommendation and walked out after paying approximately $2,300 in repairs on a vehicle that is worth less than $1,000.
What makes this even worse is that the vehicle was not having these performance problems before they worked on it. Immediately after getting it back, it began having serious mechanical issues, including a flashing check engine light.
I find the circumstances surrounding this transaction extremely concerning. In my opinion, recommending $2,300 worth of repairs to a 77-year-old customer who came in for an oil change, particularly when the repair costs more than twice the value of the vehicle, raises serious concerns about predatory business practices involving an elderly customer. At a minimum, she should have been clearly informed about the cost of the repair compared with the value of her vehicle so she could make a truly informed decision.
My mother trusted the professionals advising her. Instead, she spent $2,300 and ended up with a vehicle experiencing serious problems immediately after their work.
We have requested a full refund of the $2,300 because we do not believe this repair should ever have been recommended or performed under these circumstances. We are also asking the business to take responsibility for any mechanical problems caused by or related to the work they performed.
Families with elderly parents: please be cautious, ask questions, get a second opinion, and make sure your loved ones understand exactly what they are being sold before authorizing expensive repairs. Based on what happened to my mother, I would not feel comfortable having an elderly family member take a vehicle here alone. I called and the OWNER JOSEPH DWYER was RUDE and hung up on me and told me not to call. He had no intention of moving towards a solution.
