Thank you for bringing your 2018 Toyota 4Runner in for service and for giving us another opportunity to earn your business. We appreciate you trusting us with your vehicle.
When your vehicle was pulled into the shop, our technician observed that the TPMS warning light was already illuminated within the first few minutes of arrival. This was noted before any service work began, including the tire rotation, and a diagnostic recommendation was made at that time.
TPMS sensors are battery powered and can begin to fail as they age, often without warning. In some situations, a sensor may appear to fail after a tire rotation because it is positioned farther from the vehicle’s receiver, which can make a weak signal more noticeable. In your case, however, the warning light was present before the tires had been rotated.
We understand how the timing of this situation could be concerning, especially if you had not noticed the light previously. Based on the initial inspection and documentation, the concern was present upon arrival and was not caused by the service performed.
As a gesture of goodwill, we waived the diagnostic fee during your visit. While the sensor issue was not related to the oil change or tire rotation, we value you as a customer and wanted to demonstrate that.
We appreciate your feedback and remain committed to providing professional and transparent service. If you would like to discuss the visit further, we are happy to review everything with you.
Thank you,

Instead of taking responsibility, they tried to tell me I would have to pay to fix it. That doesn’t sit right with me. The TPMS was functioning properly before service, and the issue only appeared after the tire rotation. It feels careless at best and dishonest at worst.
I am extremely disappointed in the service center. I had stopped coming here for a long time but decided to give them another chance. Unfortunately, that was a mistake.
This vehicle has only 50,000 miles on it and has been very well maintained. I expect basic accountability and professionalism, especially for routine service work.
