Check engine light still coming on
I do not like to leave negative reviews, but I am not happy about my son’s car. I took the car because the check engine light came on. They ran a diagnostic on it and was told what code came up. I was given an estimate. I wound up doing the work. Total including diagnostics was about$1300. I get the car back and a few days later check engine light comes on again. I call and I can’t get appointment for about 2 1/2 weeks. I take the car back again and am told we found the problem, another $380. I get the car back and it sits for 6 weeks while my son is away. 2nd day he drives it, check engine light comes on. I go back and talk to Brian and it’s like if new codes keep popping up there is nothing we can do about that. So I’m about $1700 in and I still have a check engine light on. I did not want to take the car to the dealership because I would rather support the small shops. I am not happy

We appreciate your feedback and sincerely apologize for the ongoing issues with your son's vehicle. Please know that we take your concerns seriously and are committed to resolving this matter. To address this situation let it be known that each time the vehicle returned to our shop the previous code that we diagnaosed and made the repair were no longer present.  That lets us know the repairs we made to the vehicle fixed the issue that was at hand each time. This vehicle had multiple issues that occuring at different times. I explained this to our customer. I pulled his history records and showed him that new codes were showing up in the PCM and that he was having different issues each time. This was made very clear to him but he did not like that answer even though that is a matter of fact. I explaind that the check engine light comes on for many many reasons. I also told him that we will be more than happy to look as his vehicle again for the new issue but we unfortunatly would not be able to get his vehicle until my next open appointment. This was not a satifatory answer eother, but that the best we can do. We strive to satisfy all of our customers as can be seen with our reviews. In short this vehicle was having multiple issues over time and we corrected each one as the were presented to us. Some vehicle have more issues that others and this is one of those situations. We try to make everyone happy when they leave here but as we all know sometines people are not simple to satisfy.  We are celebrating 40 years in business this month. That alone speaks of the quality work we provide.
