My car failed smog. Check engine light came on with a P420 code. Catalytic converter was the issue. I
applied for the CAP program under the Bureau of Automative Repair had a list of mechanics for me to chose from, and I narrowed down to a few options based off their reviews and distance from my place. They replaced my cat efficiently. The program covered up to $1450. They helped tremendously in the total cost. Just need to drive my car around a bit more until my car monitor shows it’s ready. My dad got additional quotes from them for other issues my car was having, and they also pointed out my condenser fan was not working. Appreciated their additional help in answering other questions and giving us comparison quotes between aftermarket and OEM parts.
