… my most recent visit to West went absolute swimmingly. The previous evening, I pulled into my drive
way late in the evening when my neighbor informed me my driver’s side brake light was kaput. Left to my own devices, I didn’t want to drive ANYWHERE the next day. But I knew I’d hafta grin and bear it, and take it to West for repair/replace. I called early in the day to give the shop the most flexibility in scheduling me, and was rewarded with, “Bring it on in; now is fine.” Yippie!
I was back at home with a repaired brake light EASILY by the time my aforementioned neighbor was done golfing. Today I thanked him for saving me from getting rear-ended, ticketed, or worse. He said, “Yeah, West opens up by 08:00 of a morning. Good for you!” I’m not sure how he knew that, since his cars are usually so new they’re still under warranty…. Another day, another mystery to solve. Good on my neighbor! And good on West! Life is good. 😎😎😎

I was at the beginning of a 12-hour drive, with a flight to catch at the end, when my alternator and
battery went out. It was early morning, and when I called Joel, he got me in quickly so I could get back on my way to Colorado. He was kind, professional, and HONEST! As a woman traveling alone, it’s good to know that I’m getting honest treatment and a good deal. If I lived in Montclair, Joel’s automotive would be my first choice. I brought my vehicle in for an inspection to see where strange noise was coming from under dash. The
noise stopped prior to arriving at AA, and remained dormant throughout. After inspecting my vehicle, and unable to detect or replicate the noise, AA charged only for man-hours and nothing more. Thank you AA for being an honest and trustworthy business.

My engine splash guard was falling off after being hit on the freeway. I am way too old to crawl unde
r myself so I took it here and even though I was late they took a look at it. They removed it without a charge and I was on my way within an hour. They didn't have to that for me and very few if any shops would do so.
So when it needs service I will be taking it there.
