2018 Escape

After 7 years & 2 months, this is the first mechanical breakdown. I would say that’s really good.Battery & wiper blades lasted 5 years each. Love the heated steering wheel & the stereo actually had a disc player in it.

My thoughts on the escape

Basically I can't say anything because I was irresponsible and the aspect of maintenance I should have did the transmission flush when he suggested it at the time I never had a car like that I roll Toyota so that's why you didn't have all the stars the transmission gave me nightmares

2018 Ford Escape Review

Bought this car from a friend and it's only 7 years old but still has that new car smell. She took amazing care of it so I felt confident about purchasing it with 95,000 miles on it. Seven months later it has a catastrophic failure from coolant intrusion into the engine...a faulty design by Ford Motor Company. I spoke to a number of First dealerships and aren't covering the engines, despite it being their faulty design, and they aren't doing recalls. Had to pay $6,310 for a short block. Just ridiculous that they don't guarantee their cars when the problem is clearly not drivers error or lack of proper maintenance. It is their faulty design which they knew about and sold the cars anyway. I'm now part of a huge class action lawsuit against Ford and will not buy a Ford again. I've always bought Fords, but now I will buy GM or Chevy. I had huge respect for Ford, but after this situation and their lack of care, I have none.

I've had two: both were great to about 85,000 then Turbo went out on the first, engine failure on the second $11,000 for repair

I like my car although I bought it using it came with some problems and I’m spending money now to cover those problems and it’s a pain in the neck they used car dealer was not very honest with me and did not honor the things that I believed to be wrong with the car in the beginning, and now I am paying for those repairs which they masked and did not cover the repairs at time of purchase

Just do regular maintenance ie change the oil, basic check up

Car drives nicely, holds the road in all conditions; basic maintenance ie rotate tires, change the oil, good mileage, like the back for waist high storage, just lift the back "door" and put stuff inside. Back seat easily folds down for larger storage area. Original outside paint still looks great, like new after car wash.

Cheaply made.. paint chipped everywhere.. tells me they don’t do paint like they use too.. doors are made as well cheap.. already having trouble with them.. gaps in doors , I never noticed when I purchased this

2018 Ford Escape Titanium

Overall, this is a very nice vehicle. It has attractive styling, good power, and is a comfortable ride. This replaced my Jeep Grand Cherokee I had driven for many years. As those became larger, they no longer fit my needs. After test driving many other SUV's, I chose this one, and am very satisfied with it.

My 2018 Escape

I went from an Edge to an Escape in 2018 and was skeptical that I would be happy. Well my Escape proved me wrong. It's a great vehicle!! I was worried about it's performance in the winter - It was wonderful!!

It can take off quick like a rabbit. My Ford Escape SE has a 2.5 l. Ecoboost engine

Very Little Power

The vehicle is mostly gutless when the A/C is running. It has nice lines and nice features over all. I don't have anything else to say except requiring two hundred characters seems pretty lame if I don't have anything else to say.

I love my Escape

I went from a Fusion to an Escape. Very nice change sitting up higher. I felt like I really had a better view. I love the smooth ride and gas mileage. The back hatch is really convenient for loading groceries and things.

Love my Ford Escape

Thanks to I was laid off from my job and took up kayaking this summer. the only thing I don't like about my 2018 Escape is the front passenger seat does not fold down all the way one way or the other.

Very reliable vehicle

Handles very well, great on fuel and quality build. The interior lacks head room and foot space. The rear cargo area is small and lacks the room needed for 4 adults bags etc. Lots of road noise comes from the rear of the vehicle with nothing wrong mechanically.

2018 Escape

I don’t have many miles on it, but I really like it. It is basically my daily driver and it is comfortable for someone my size, 6’4”, bigger guy. It is easy to enter and exit plus it is comfortable to drive. The vehicle size is just perfect for me zipping around town or on the highway for a day trip. I’ve owned quite a few 4x4 vehicles but this is my first all wheel drive vehicle. It’s definitely nice in the winter having it automatically grab on the icy roads when needed. My daughter has an Escape also, about a 2015, and after hearing her talk about how much she liked it and letting me take it on a 300 mile day trip, I was sold on one.

I have had two 2018 Ford Escapes, I love the vehicle. It's comfortable, reliable, plenty of space for people and cargo. It fits my every needs. My husband and I travel to visit family, it is a very comfortable vehicle for those road trips, planned or unplanned.
