My electric car for an 80 year old

Thing I like Heater and air conditioning is good Take off is good. Good acceleration. Seat is comfy Things I don’t like: Turn signal sound not loud enough Map street names too small to easily read. No help with zoom. Needs air suspension. Ride not as nice as lyric Cadillac. Red light camera warning not turning off. I pedal needs to be reset every time car is turned on. Mirror garage door remote goes off when vehicle shut off. Battery Needs a little more range. Battery charge limits should be in 5% increments not 10%. Warning screen is superfluous. Wiper auto settings are not very good. No quick wipe without washer.

GV70 Electric

Awesome car overall, super fast, loved the three years complimentary free charging, but that service no longer exists. Comfort is great, mileage was not ideal, but I work in the city I live so not that big of deal except going 60 miles out for baseball and hockey tournaments, had to charge when I got home .

Definitely the most luxurious and reliable car I’ve ever owned

this car is comfortable. It’s good looking, performances off the charts. I looked at this car sitting in my garage thinking what can I do to make this car look better perform better, I can’t. This car is perfect.

Not what its cracked up to be. Buy a Honda or Toyota.

Depreciates worse they any other vehicle I have ever owned. Nothing but problems. Front axle was replaced, dashboard goes black, car shakes & vibrates, rear hatch never opens on the fist try. car is a lemon. manufacture doesn't stand by the product. Dealer will just tell you they cant duplicate the issue, so they never have to fix it. I will never buy a Hyundai product again!

Outstanding Vehicle

The GV70 Electrified receives compliments everywhere I go. The ride is smooth and quiet, the acceleration is otherworldly, the comfort is outstanding, and the electronics are top notch. Everything about the vehicle seems well thought out, logical, and effective. It looks great, also. My only wish is that the battery range were greater. Other than that, this is an exceptional vehicle in every way.

Best Car Purchase!

Looks like Genesis is making a statement in the car industry. They're here to stay and they're here to compete with the top luxury brands in the U.S. I've purchased a lot of cars in the past 20 years, and this is hands down the best purchase so far. The amenities offered in the vehicle are leagues above what is offered in other luxury vehicles, and at a lower cost. From the premium leather, to the massager, this vehicle provides aesthetics and function for the driver. And not to downplay on the drivability of the car either. The handling and the takeoff are great! I easily pass cars assuming the other drivers are slow pokes, but in reality, I'm just driving too fast - too easily. Can't wait for the new iteration of the vehicle. Will definitely be looking to purchase another one in the next few years!

Overall Great Vehicle. A few adjustments would help.

Overall the GV-70E is a great car. It is stylish, has a luxurious interior, is comfortable, smooth driving and crazy fast. Our number one, biggest complaint is that the doors are way too low to the ground. Meaning, when I park on the street and want to let my wife out, the door does not have enough clearance at the bottom even for relatively low curbs. I have to let her out before I get close enough to the curb to park. This is actually a real nuisance. The second issue is the unreliability of the backup beeping warning. I realize that the warning beeps are not a substitute for careful driving and parking, but I find the warning inconsistent. Many times it is beeping like crazy when there is absolutely nothing there. Other times it doesn't beep and I look in the rear camera and I am like 1-2 feet from hitting a wall or an object and then it starts blaring. Third, on several occasions, I'll shift the car into drive and nothing, it won't move. I have had to turn the car off and restart it and then it's fine. This has only happened a handful of times in the two and a half years we have had the car. Lastly, the "Boost" feature button is a bit too easy to hit. On three or four occasions, my wife or I have accidentally hit the button and the car wants to take off. Overall, though, I really like the Genesis GV-70E and would recommend it.

A few firmware changes

Great engineering and build. Would like it if the sunroof could be tilted open with the sunshade mostly closed; if the door is locked automatically when I walked away from the vehicle; if the HVAC could be adjusted from the backseat without changing the settings in the front seat; if the key fobs could control, preset seating and mirror settings; if the heated steering wheel were optional in the mid tier version. I have the electric. It is the future.

Incredible EV

I got my Electrified GV70 several years ago and have been hooked ever since, it's a fantastic car. The inside is luxurious, super comfortable and brimming with comfort and safety features. The various ultrasound and radar sensors are also great and help it feel like an incresibly safe vehicle. My only complaints are that some controls, like preheating the battery for charging, are arcane to use use or (like the preheating) totally out of driver control. But those are not typical, and the overall experience of the car is amazing.

Great car, EV Range needs work

If they could improve the range, charging speed when the battery is cold and improve availability of Level 3 chargers I would never a gas vehicle again.
