Classy fast car, just a bit small

The G70 is a super classy, and functional car. Everything inside the car seems pretty simple to learn to use. It's a sporty experience from the moment you walk up to the car, sit in the front seat, and fire up the engine. Sport Mode is pretty darn cool. Im 6'2" and barely fit in the car. It's my only complaint. You can fit 4 passengers comfortably, but 5 would have to be 3 kids in the back. No way 3 full size adults would fit. Trunk space is mediocre, deep but not wide or tall.

I thought it would be better than a domestic vehicle

New 2023 G70, Advanced Sport 3.3 RWD. Wife chose the car because of its sporty styling and amenities. I rated the car 3 stars because the engine knocks for at least 20 seconds on a cold start-up, longer with colder ambient temperatures. I have complained to the Genesis dealership on various occasions and the answer has been the same- -there is nothing wrong with the engine, the knock is normal. Another issue is the passenger side headlight fills with condensation. The weather conditions/temperature need to lower in order to cause the condensation and test the assembly even though I have a photo of the passenger headlight full of water and the driver side dry (both photos taken at same time). I have never experienced these issues on any of my other vehicles. I will sell this car off before the warranty expires and will never purchase another Genesis again, which is unfortunate since the G70 and GV70 product line are nice looking vehicles. On the plus side, the car is pretty quick with 300 hp and twin turbochargers. My wife is a casual driver and does not spin the turbos up which is a good thing because I do not trust they would survive.

Awesome machine.

Great looking quick as a jack rabbit, and luxury as BMW 5 series audio 6. I can only image upgraded turbos as part of a tune toy 3.3T. I be scared.

2023 3.3T Sport Advanced Prestiage

Love the car. My only complaint is the sun roof cover rattles a bit when I close my door. My dealer indicated there is no recall and nothing can be done to remedy. I lease my cars and will be turning it in next May.

The Reason I love my Genisis

The car for its price is unmatched, from performance to comfort there is not one bad thing about the car and the only thing I’ve ever had trouble with is having people above 6 foot sit in the back other than that for it’s price the car is unmatched and absolutely exceptional.

My Genesis experience

I can say, I have enjoyed owning my Genesis. There are issues with it like any vehicle. I've had to replace the front shocks due to noise issue. The new ones are doing it again. The rims get bent going over any pothole and my wheels can never stay balanced. It's a fun vehicle to drive and the tech is good. I may even buy out my lease. The matte paint is rusting in 2 odd spots which is upsetting. All in all, for the 60k, it's a fine vehicle.

Great change from the typical luxury brand

My wife and I have been BMW owners for 20 years (8 cars in total). Recently with issues with a dealership and repair costs we decided to venture into the Genesis market. We have been very happy owners since. I purchased a G70 for my wife that wanted the luxury features but the best warranties in the industry. She absolutely loves the car and gets compliments from her coworkers all the time.
