Awesome vehicle

The G80 Ultimate is a fantastic car! Loaded with technology and a great looking car. This car in comfort mode rides better than any car I've ever owned. In sport mode, it is nearly as fast as my Maserati Ghibli SQ4. It's extremely comfortable and very quiet. I love this car!

very solid performer

bought new 2018 genesis G80 HTRAC 5.0. This is a excellent touring, family, commuting car. The motor is so smooth on the interstate, you do not hear it. The revs are low at 70 mph (1600-1700). The fuel economy is much higher than is stated by the EPA. Other reviews have stated low MPGs. I drive a lot of interstate and use the smart cruise control. Set at 70 mph I get back 29 mpg. The ride is very smooth even on not so good city streets. The cabin is also extremely quite. If you compare car to car against other high end brands, the Geneses is tough to beat. Compare the overall package to any others and you will see the real value. We are very happy with our choice.

We are very happy with our G80 Thus far.

The only thing we would change about the car is the cup holders. We find the size and shape odd and not user friendly. We would also add additional cup holders to the doors. Sorry, I don’t have any more input for the comment box. The car is very responsive and a joy to drive.

Great Value, Excellent Car

2018 Genesis G80 with V8 and all wheel drive might just be the best car I’ve owned. It’s extremely comfortable with features and quality as good as or better than the premium European brands. I traded a large premium German car for the Genesis and the G80 actually offers a better driving experience, exceeding my expectations. The extras Genesis includes regarding services and maintenance are amazing considering the cost of the car.

Experience the best

You can pay more for a luxury vehicle,but you will certainly find that you can pay less, while still getting a whole lot more ,at any price. The Genesis brand is one that draws unsolicited kudos from drivers of the other luxury brands. The kind of kudos that keeps you smiling as though you are just about to drive your Genesis off the dealer lot for the first time.Enough said;Test Drive and Be Surprised!

I love my G80

Before purchasing my 2018 G80 5.0, I had a 2012 Hyundai Genesis 5.0. I loved the space and ride of my old Genesis so I decided to upgrade. I definitely made the right decision. I fit comfortably in my car. I am 6'5. The G80 as far as luxury options are concerned took it to another level!

Well built, stylish, enjoyable to drive and head turning.

My 4th Genesis and each one is better. Currently driving the G80 Sport version. This is a stylish, head turning car with great performance. It is pleasure to drive and I look forward to extended trips. Whether driving or parked in a parking lot, it will get noticed. As Genesis realigns their dealer network, I hope they keep them convenient to major population areas.

2018 G80 Sport 3.3T

Stated in each category on previous pages. The only issue I have at this time is the window trim and I do not get a Genesis loaner car when needed, I am given a Hyundai. Exhaust sound could be deeper. At this time with 7,000 miles, I have no other issues.

Wow what a car

This car has given me much more than I expected. I’ve had it for a year and will continue to be a genesis driver in the future. I had been a Cadillac driver for over 20 years - now a very overrated , overpriced car with lousy electronics and performance. Genesis is the way to go.

Genesis G80 Review

I didn’t think I would like driving a sporty car at my age, but I got used to it just fine. Had a little issue getting into a car lower to the road since I’ve driven Mini Vans since 2000, but I got used to that, too. Playing the oldies on my Sirius radio with the sun roof open—driving made me feel much younger—that makes it fun!

excellent quality vehicle.

I believe that Genesis is one of the safest cars in the world. I had an accident on December 21, 2018. It is my firm belief that had I been driving any other vehicle, I wouldn't have survived. As a result of this, I bought another Genesis G-80. The car is beautiful, quiet, responsive, and handles great. Believe me, whenever I do, if ever, replace this car it will be with another Genesis. "You've sold me on Genesis"!!

Great car

I like everything about this car and plan on getting another one when my lease is up. The service dealer has been great. I get a loaner when service is needed. I have had no problems since getting the car two years ago. Would recommend this car to anyone.

Simply the best Automobile for the Money

Dollar for dollar the best car I’ve owned in25 years. A 1996 S MB purchased new at the time was equal in comfort but at least twice the price. As a car enthusiast I’ve purchased a wide variety of cars including some some unusual ones like a Maserati Gran Torino (averaged about 10 miles to the part, an XKE (ditto),XJS (Camarillo look alike without the reliability) & even a Delorian, which looked distinctive but was so underpowered, I was the only person that was happy the 55 mile an hour speed limit go into effect.

Mercedes Quality, without the superior attitude.

Chose the Genesis G80 Sport, after 8 years of totally trouble free driving in a 2010 Hyundai Genesis. So far the new Genesis has exceeded our wildest expectations, it is everything that the older car had, plus a lot of innovation and technology. It is a comfortable, stable, fast car, which I expect will give me a minimum of eight years of trouble free motoring.

When people say "What's a Genisis", I tell then it's one of the best luxury car values anywhere, anytime.

Not having a Cadillac dealer who was willing to get us the XTS in the interior color we wanted we went with the car that our research indicated also met our requirements. That was the Genesis G80. It all worked out as the car has blown us away with it's performance, features, ride quality, and attention to detail. I couldn't be happier with how things worked out and when we go car shopping next time The Genesis will be the first car we look at.

Affordable luxury with many safety features. A joy to drive. Handling is firm, minimum sway in turns and tracks straight. Very quiet cabin with a great sound system. Like the ability to customize the various safety features.
