My 2024 Genesis G80

The Genesis G80 drives like a dream with all the power you need from the twin turbo engine. The reason I didn't give it five stars is for functional reasons. To clean the interior front and back windows, you need to be a contortionist. A human arm cannot rich over the steering wheel and infotainment screen to fully clean the entire window. I've had the headlamps adjusted 3 times already and still need another. Straight from the factory, the headlights were aimed too low and I couldn't see far enough ahead on a dark rural road to feel safe. I had the dealer adjust the headlamps up a few clicks, but that resulted in oncoming cars flashing their high beam headlights at me. Had them lowered a little but they seem to still be a little too high. Will need to have it adjusted one more time and hope I'm not right back where I started. The infotainment screen is poorly positioned for the driver to effectively use without taking their eyes off the road. Finally, the lane keeping assistant tends to overcorrect you when drifting over a painted line in the road. Instead of a gentle nudge, it corrects you with an aggressive jolt. Recently a noticeable rattle developed in the front driver door. The car has 32,000 miles on it.

A Pleasure to Drive

Great vehicle. I love the comfort, styling and technology. I look forward to any trip in my car. I have experienced one glitch with the electronic media system but it seems to be ok at this time.

DNA's G80

This is my fourth G80. The 2009 was the best driving car I had driven. The 2013 was better. The 2018 was an improvement on perfection. This 2024 excels beyond the others.

Góod looking but...

I get a lot of compliments àbout the. Vehicle. Compared to other vehicles in the price range it is missing some key aspects. First, when using Google maps it does have an option to show the map on the instrument panel only the monitor. This you need to keep the navigation map open and can't leave it on radio or other options. There are other things which are annoying that should be improved compared to other competitive models.

good looking vehicle, very classy

i bought G80 over an E-class. And already own Mercedes (SUV). Very happy with the purchase. Although to pay a higher price, the G80 would need to compare to Mercedes on fuel economy and ride quality. The vehicle is stylish, inside and out, with understated elegance and holds court with every other brand in its class. Particularly happy with the interior, which is clean and elegant. Fit and finish is excellent. Very happy with the exterior and interior colors offered. And appreciate the extra effort Genesis is making about its commitment to be a luxury brand in the developed markets. Id like to see an upgrade to the rear view to make the Genesis a truly unique style, as now the vehicle is too close a cousin to the Hyundai.
