I absolutely love my GV70, but can it be better?

As stated in the title, I absolutely love my GV70. I have had it for 2 years and it is a great car. I will, however, admit that there have been a few instances where the car hasn't performed the way I would expect a 2-year old luxury car with less than 48,000 miles would have. A few examples..... 1. There has been a dull, but nagging sound (I think from the drivers side door) that occurs when I am driving. Not always, but on occasion. 2. The back hatch rarely opens the first time I push the button by the windshield wiper. 3. Sometimes when I turn off the car, the car battery light turns on and it makes this steady noise. I have to turn the car on in order to then turn the car back off. All of these seem surprising for a luxury level car and one that is pretty early in its useful life.

Technology is awful

Technology is not good, dealership is clueless about dealing with technology issues. My 2023 Genesis was supposed to have internet capabilities, does not. Car play only works about 80% of the time. Door lock doesn’t always respond to fob, it recognizes that it is there because the side mirrors open, car door won’t unlock 10-20% of the time.

Great car … concierge service is a lie

I love my car but don’t listen to dealership when they speak about concierge services. You can NEVER use them and it should never be factored into the cost of your car.

Almost Doggone Perfect!

After 2 1/2 years we've found only 4 things we wish were different: 1. Please offer as a hybrid!; 2. Make the compass directionals a larger script. These old eyes can barely read them. 3. Transmission should be more responsive. 4. Excessive hood flutter at speed.
