Blown Away & In Love

I wasn't even aware of Genesis when I needed to find a replacement car after my previous vehicle was totaled. Granted, I hadn't looked for a new car in a while. When I started my research, Genesis consistently rose to the top with both industry/trade and consumer reviews. And when I test drove, I was blown away. I anticipated being loyal to the brand of my previous car as I absolutely loved it, but they had not kept up on tech/features & benefits like the GV70 offered, especially at the price point. I've had the car for 2.5 years now and still absolutely love it. Highly recommend checking one out!

Many things not liked about the vehicle

Difficult to reach the large display, radio does not show the song or artist, car does not follow the key for the driver, Nav screen functions are confusing and take you attention away from the road, seats in entry mode would crush the rear passengers legs, message about hands on wheel comes up all the time even when hands are both ON the wheel which takes attention away from from the road, remote starting the vehicle does not start the heated seats, radio station sometimes changes without touching the control, once the steering wheel retracted to the furthest point while driving on a highway. Plus other things too numerous to list.

A fun car to drive. Many safety and comfort features although the driver assist feature is poor and shuts off without warning at turns and lightly marked traffic lines. Love the heated and air conditioned seats.

Surprisingly Wonderful

I was not even looking for a car let alone a SUV. But after thoroughly test driving the car I was taken in by its excellent ride and handling - so very sporty but stable and steady on the road. The fit and finish inside and out are superb. The car is a joy to drive and the infotainment and Nav systems are excellent and intuitive. I’ve owned many fine cars in my life and this is one of my favorites. If I were to buy another I’d go for the hybrid to get better MPG,

EXCELLENT QUALITY, ALWAYS STARTS RIGHT UP. VERY SMOOTH IN EXCELLERATION AND TOURQUE. DRIVEN IN ALL WEATHER INCLUDING HEAVY SNOW. VEHICLE TRACTION IS EXCEPTIONAL, BUT LIGHT IN SNOW. EXCELLENT COMPUTER AND EASY TO UNDERSTAND CONTROLS. GAS MILEAGE IS GOOD AT 26 MPG PER GALLON ON HIGHWAY.

GV70 is a winner in the small-SUV category

The GV70 is elegant inside and out and has excellent fit and finish. It's a great highway cruiser and is capable of 28 MPG on long-haul trips. While the tech features and screens are a bit difficult to master, the car is infinitely adaptable to the driver's body size, the car's systems are well-illustrated in the large electronic screen, and the comfort of the GV70 matches or exceeds that of any car in its price range and category.

Great SUV

Bought it new as a 2024 have had no problems so far but only have about 18500 miles on it. Have driven to FL and back and it rides good, handles great and comfortable for a long trip. Would buy another if I didn't go up to the GV 80, but I also have a 2023 G90, so guess you could say I'm a Genesis guy.
