A complete waste of my money.

I am planning to trade it in. No more Genesis for me. This was my dream car. It as turned in an expensive nightmare. I keep wondering what else is going to go wrong with this car.

Gas pedal lag

When pressing on gas pedal to accelerate from a stop, there is a surge and the car hesitates to go forward, for a few seconds before it kicks in and goes, it’s scary in heavy traffic for fear that I can’t get out in traffic when a have a brief moment. Also, my side mirrors rotate to ground when backing in reverse, when switching back into drive, they only part way return to my view and I’m always having to readjust them.

LOVE the GV70!

My vehicle of choice has usually been manual sporty cars such as the,WRX, Veloster N and the Civic SI. These have been my favorite, but now I went out of my comfort zone to get something more in the luxury line. the 3.5L GV70 has been incredible! It's been a fantastic vehicle the past 2 years I've had it. I have zero complaints and love all the bells and whistles! I did however still keep one of my sporty cars! Thanks Genesis for making a winner! I'm forever a customer!

2023 Genesis GV70

Love the look of the vehicle always get plenty of compliments. All of the Genesis dealership and service department that were in close proximity have closed so now I need to leave the state of Mississippi just to get service on my vehicle. But the recall are too frequent. First water in the headlight took almost 2 months to get the problem solved on a vehicle less than one year old. Genesis corporate had to get involved. I am still utilizing the Hyundai dealership 60 miles from home where I purchased the vehicle now next complaint is the chrome has tarnish so bad it makes the whole car look years older than what it is. I would love to make Genesis the last car I ever buy, but it sort of hard with all the problems I’ve encountered.

First impressions

Overall have been satisfied. Comfort, styling and fun to drive are all positives. The engine shut off should have switch to that doesn’t have to be reset on each trip. Also difficult to find settings in onboard computer. The phone changer does not work. Simply makes the phone hot.

Tried Genesis instead of Lexus
