JDoi Genesis GV70 Review

Overall, I am very happy with my GV70. It has a powerful but quiet engine. The noise level inside the car is very low. The exterior is very stylish. The interior is fantastic with the heated and cooled leather seats, the excellent LCD infoscreen, the panoramic sunroof and the trimmings are great. The technology in the car is second to none. My only negatives about this car (and I knew it when I bought it) is the gas mileage (around 22 mpg) and the engine needing premium fuel. Other than that, I have nothing but superlatives to describe my GV70.

I love my Gv70, it's fun to drive, gets good gas mileage and it looks good too. I also love the service that someone picks my car up for service and that I do not have to sit at the dealership waiting for it.

Beautiful car inside and outside. Love the styling and the tech. Unfortunately it’s had problems - been to the dealer 4x in 2 years. Dealer experience is 5 star - appreciate the valet service, loaners, and communication.

Beautiful, Comfortable and reliable Luxury SUV

Love almost everything about the car. Small adjustment on the aesthetics have been made (i have round tail pipes and they now more square). Mileage isn't great and its not an inexpensive vehicle but driving it and riding in it are quite comfortable and the technology on it is very user friendly.

Good car, disappointing electronics.

This is probably not a fair comparison. Vehicle ride, handling, and interior sound insulation are very good. My previous vehicle, 2016 Nissan Murano, was FAR superior in space and electronics. Examples: Murano - memory seats. GV70 - you have to adjust every time you get in the car. Cameras - Murano forward facing and surround cameras. GV70 - rear facing camera only. Controls - Murano simple cruise control. GV70 - I've had it almost 2 yrs and still get the cruise control messed up. I don't use it most of the time, because it isn't worth the trouble. Useless features - following distance, lane control, most hated "Feature" is the stop-start. Cryptic symbols - No idea what they mean. Needs a regular gear shift. Get rid of the stupid knob. I wish it had a normally aspirated V6. The turbo 4, although smooth and responsive, does not bode well for longevity.

Should have option for auto locking of doors when no fobs are detected in vehicle.

2024 2.5t Sport Prestige. It does everything well. I am very pleased that the primary drive is rear-wheel (we have AWD). Very good fuel mileage. Comfortable.
