2nd GV70 and nit the last

I had a 2022 GV70 prestige and decided to lease a 2026 GV70 prestige. I love driving this vehicle. I biggest wish is gas mileage is terrible. I average 18 miles a gallon.

Initially very disappointed with brakes squealing

Vehicles front rotors were defective which resulted in my time being wasted to have replacement parts installed on a vehicle with less than 1800 miles. Squealing noise was so loud that neighbors complained the noise was waking them up since my wife leaves for work at 6AM. Very annoying and disappointing. On the positive side Jenkins Genesis NE Florida ordered and professionally installed the parts to solve the issue. Better quality controls should be implemented at assembly level.

Underwhelmed unfortunately...

I was excited to buy this car, but there have been several "quirks" that have left me underwhelmed. Two days after taking delivery of the car, the battery died, and it was a fight with the dealership to get the problem resolved. At various times, the car will jam on the brakes for no apparent reason when backing up. There is a pucker in the sunroof seal, and I'm afraid it could lead to a leak - I will address that with the dealership when time allows.

GV 70 2.5T

Love the car. Wish the gear transition on the 2.5T were a little smoother, but has strong drive train for engine size. I would like a locked gas cap. Garage door opener button should activate when vehicle is turned off.

Fun To Drive. Difficult To Service

Genesis GV70 is fun to drive, comfortable with lots of features at a reasonable price point. Gas mileage isn't awesome, and the dealer network is sadly lacking. I can't service my GV70 in Reno NV -- and the dealer in Rocklin CA (100 miles away) is horrible. They don't return calls, very difficult to reach a human in the service dept, and the concierge service there is poor.

Fun to drive. Frustrating to service.

Love to drive the GV70. Response off the line is a little sluggish, but okay. Controls interfaces are first rate. Cargo area is a bit small, but expected in this category. Worst part of the Genesis Experience BY FAR is the lack of local service support (I live in Reno Nevada but can't use the local Hyundai dealer -- I have to drive over 100 miles to Sacramento for service support -- and the Rocklin dealer's Service department SUCKS SUCKS SUCKS. They don't return phone calls, extremely difficult to reach a person, and the concierge services are sadly lacking when you visit for an oil change. Hard to believe this is the best Genesis can do -- dealers like this are your Achilles heel.
