Great automobile!

Great automobile - particularly love the stereo. Only thing I don't like is the center console. The rotary gear shift "dial" and "controller" knob (both with clear plastic bezels) look cheap as does the console's finish (mine is brushed metal that harshly reflects sunlight onto driver and front passenger ). Also, don't understand why the car does not come with a trunk area cover/shade, as standard equipment.

My GV70's Maine Trip

We took are 26 GV70 from Missouri to Maine and back. It performed outstanding and was very comfortable to sit in with the many seat adjustments built into the vehicle. Handling and drive mode capability was great and very intuitive . Fuel mileage was what I expected it to be with a turbo four. I especially love the all around camera systems that part is one of our favorites. Dash and touch screen information is very well explained and the mouse works flawlessly. I will admit that the center console heat/AC controls are a bit small to see but I am 65 so for the younger people it probably not a problem. Back seat people have lots of room and cargo space is as expected for a small SUV. Styling is very eye catching and all our friends were very impressed with the vehicle.

Transmission not up to par

The GV70 is beautiful and the interior is very well appointed. But the car does not drive as smoothly as it should in its class. From a stop, it feels hesitant and slightly erratic while accelerating. Disappointed in this aspect.

My key fobs have been a constant issue!!! My tire warning light is on about 50% of the time, I've brought it to the dealer and they said nothing is wrong, not true!!!

GV 70 first year review

Generally very good but has what I consider a few flaws that our Q5 did better. #1. We each had a key for the Audi recognized and knew who was driving when each approached. Not necessary to confirm. #2. We we turned off the engine in didn’t end our phone calls right away but allowed us to keep talking for several minutes.

Feedback

The dash and personal settings appear to change. I never know if I should pick my driver name on the touchscreen or select driver 1 on the door The messages that are displayed on the dash are not visible long enough before they are deleted

On time

My CSR was great. The one thing that disappointed me was, the technician said my screen needed an update. Then said we change to do it. your screen needs an update, what part of that is my problem. Fix my car it’s still under warranty. They didn’t provide me with instructions as to how to do this maintenance on my car. I am not an automobile technician. WT F????

Exceeded my Expectations

Loved the vehicle with its test drive, but I was a bit apprehensive about purchasing a make (although highly rated) that I had never owned before. Once I completed the learning curve with its incredible technology, I have been thoroughly impressed with its performance, its functionality and head-turning style. Owning it only confirmed what the auto reviewers have said about the GV70 ... it's a top pick that will not disappoint.

Still new

Vehicle is still new, less than 6,000 miles so most everything works fine. Only real complaints are the preference for premium fuel and that the HD weather app usually won't load data. Also, the doors cover the rocker panels so water gets trapped in the plastic interior trim inside of the doors.
