some performance drawbacks

Disappointing and dangerous acceleration from standstill. When quickly depressing the accelerator, there's quite a hesitation. could be dangerous. A Genesis representative suggested keeping in "sport" drive mode. Not happy with that solution. I use premium fuel. I only have 600 miles on the 2.5T vehicle.

The GV is a very impressive car

This is the first car I have ever owned where I could not spot any small defects or something out of place. The fit and finish is just amazing. High marks to the people that built this car and the dealer that provided final prep/delivery. Well done! I have owned many cars. The ride reminds of my 1991 Mercedes 300 SE midnight blue with camel interior initial cost at the time was $55K. Drove over 150K miles and loved it. I get a similar feeling from the Genesis

Problems with brakes

Brakes screech loudly often when car is in reverse. Same thing happened with 2023 GV70 and was told nothing that can be done to fix it.

Great Car except for the driver memory functions

We love this car with the exception of the driver memory functions. Seat position and other driver memory features are not associated with the key fobs. Having to confirm the driver every time you get in the car is a pain. Sometimes it does not remember the driver settings.

Excellent except dash board

Poor design of the lower dash where fan/ac/heated seat controls are not visible during day and invariably result in me turning on seat warmers when I adjust fan speed or AC

Honestly so happy with this car. Meets more than my expectations.

I came across genesis a couple months before leasing. Best decision I’ve made. I’ve had bmw Mercedes Audi and can confidently say this competes with them 100%.

Service side need improvements. No calls or confirmation on service schedule for the support even after 3 months. Tire got pucheturwd at 2k.

Fun car

Love the car, felt right on our test drive. Only negative I have (and this goes for ALL car companies), WHY is so hard to find info in owners’ manuals? Had to call the service dept to get directions for turning off the fold down back-up mirrors. Key info is HOW to neutralize the side mirrors to reset them, which is missing.
