Good looking vehicle but mine was poorly built

I traded my gv80 for a 2025 coupe. My 2021 gv80 3.5 t was a great choice. Solid,quiet and well put together. The gv80 coupe, not so much. In shop and gonna need major repairs.

So very close....

I have very little to criticize here. This car is extremely satisfying. This is my second GV80 - my first was a 2021 Advanced Trim. This latest Coupe with the Supercharger surpasses my first car in almost every category. My only disappointments are small: 1 - the original, recessed infotainment navigator dial (above the gear selector) was superior. 2 - the current physical dashboard knobs (volume, tuning, temperature controls) as well as the Drive Mode knob feel cheap: being plastic and they wobble, unlike the gear selector which is rock solid. 3 - the Dead Pedal and the hood release latch should be aluminum, like the gas and brake pedals. 4 - the sill plate should illuminate the Genesis name. 5 - it should have air suspension

Terrible experience

Until this purchase of my 2025 G80 coupe I’ve never spent this amount of money on a car. And to say I’m surprised and highly disappointed in the overall experience and lack of customer service regarding my problems would be an understatement. The manufacturer and dealer both dropped the ball and it’s still not corrected.

An Incredible Car

With the exception of two issues, this is the best car I have ever owned. It drives beautifully, it is fast when you need it, it has incredible technology, and it's are unmatched. The two weaknesses? While I would rank the car on a quality scale as better than any Mercedes, Porsche, or Lexus I have owned, I would not say that the dealers are of the same quality. These are not luxury dealers, and behave like the worst hucksters of the lowest end car dealer. The second issue is the driver's seat: It has a design flaw that makes it truly uncomfortable after about 20 minutes of driving. Just do an internet search on the topic of "GV80 Coupe Driver's Seat Problem" and you will see. It is so uncomfortable that I may sell the car after only 1,500 miles.
