Love my Elantra Hybrid

This (2023 Elantra Blue) is my 2nd Elantra, bought new. Had no interest in EV whatsoever till I learned the hybrid doesn't need to be charged. Only thing I miss is the moonroof I had on my 2017 Elantra, but I *don't* miss having to keep my eye on the gas gage. It's also beautiful and fun to drive. Could use more color choices than the blue and red.

Great for what it is!!!

I wanted a compact fuel efficient vehicle, for my commuter. The vehicle was had a low cost to purchase and was very fuel efficient. The interior materials were not top of the line, but I paid for the fuel efficiency, not the cosmetic items.

Reliable Safe Car, with some minor faults

I wish the car had more headroom. The front seats are ok for me, but i cannot sit in the back seat. The UI for the car screen is good, but it is a bit confusing to navigate and the instruction book could use improvement. The handle next to the passengers seat on the center console feels tacky and unnecessary. The car itself has had a few issues like shuddering when I go fast immediately.

Overall great with some minor issues

Main thing I want to note is if driving this car uphill for an extended period of time, the hybrid battery doesn’t have a chance to recharge. When that happens, the car begins to struggle to continue uphill and maintain a speed with the flow of regular traffic. Can be dangerous, caused quite the scare for me the first time it happened.

Only thing I would suggest is to give the seat height fixture more range. I have to use the highest setting on manual control and use a cushion.

A Smooth Ride

Great ride. Super smooth. Remote start has been a HUGE plus this winter. Some of the interior plastic is too cheap looking and feeling. Making cars with no rear wipers is something I don't understand. They should come standard on every car. That is a big negative. Great has mileage. Overall, I really like the car, but as with most things, there's room for improvement.
