Same features for a higher price

There is not much of a difference between the 23 Elantra and the base 25 Elantra except that the price is higher. So, it feels like you are just paying more for the same car. The base trim on the 25 Elantra does not have Sirius XM equipped so you are unable to listen to it at all. There are some odd design choices on the dashboard such as the speedometer being digital with no setting to change it to analog. The digital screen on the dash also doesn't look great as it has a mini screen that splits the speedometer rpm screen in an odd-looking way. The dashboard on the 23 Elantra was so much cleaner and looked way better. Not sure why they felt the need to change it when they already had a good design on previous models.

At this point the vehicle is running great, still getting used to the new car. Took it on a trip and it ran great and got great mileage, around 49 miles per gallon.

Great Sport Sedan, Great Engineering!

The Elantra is clearly a big hit in this country, as well as elsewhere. it's a good starting point for the N line, which tightens up the suspension and upgrades the engine. I find it's a great combination of comfort, efficiency, handling and design which is right up there with any of its usual rivals from Japan or Germany. It gets a bit pricey but has a premium feel which I think justifies the markup over the regular Elantra, or even the hybrid version, which is also a good option. on the other hand, with the 1.6 turbo I've been able to exceed 50 MPG driving about 40 MPH with an occasional light or stop sign. that's hard to beat, even in a hybrid. on the highway it drops down to the posted 35 MPG or so. I definitely enjoy driving on winding roads and haven't really noticed much torque steer or front wheel spinning, unless I really floor it. I'd suggest trying it out before going for a Civic, Mazda 3 or Jetta. if you really want excitement, check out the Elantra N. that was a bit hardcore for my taste, but it was tempting. then there's the Kia K4 which probably deserves a look, and offers a similar drivetrain. I wasn't sure about the styling, and didn't find any rebates since it's a new model. Happy shopping!

The Driver Attention Warning keeps coming on for no apparent reason. Evidently it can not be deleted or stopped. It very annoying and distracting. I am thinking about trading it for a different make of car.

Worst vehicle I’ve ever purchased

This is my fifth Hyundai and by far the worst I’ve ever had. I’ve the car to the dealership in once for low tire pressure and three times for continuous rattle/vibration noises in the dashboard area. The ventilation cover from infotainment center to passenger door has been replaced and pins behind steering column have been replaced twice. The rattle/vibration is still happening and mind you I’ve only had the car two months (purchased in September 2025). Worst decision I’ve ever made and I can’t wait to trade it in.

The vehicle is average. you get what you pay for and this car is a cheap vehicle but for the price is good seems to be a tight build. Comes with plenty of electronic gadgets engine is sluggish but gas mileage is great. I don’t have much complaints about the vehicle, but I have a son who is 15 and 6‘2“ and he can hardly sit in the backseat.
