Great Car, OK Software....

We really like out I6. Beautiful, nicely put together, and it does what it is supposed to do. Our only issue is with the car's software, which is behind the best, which are Tesla and Rivian. We don't have functional problems, but the user interface and ease of use are just not that good. But overall we are happy, and our local dealer has so far been good.

Nice car, fun to drive

I like this car. It’s comfortable, easy to drive, and has a unique design. The mileage could be better. The interior has WAY too many hard plastic surfaces, the headliner and carpet feel very cheap, for the price of this car. I would like to have more trunk space, the sloping trunk lid makes the opening way too narrow top to bottom. Overall, it’s a decent EV, just needs some updates to make it worth more for the price.

Comfortable, smooth, and easy to drive and charge.

The vehicle is comfortable, quiet, smooth, accelerates well and feels very stable at high speeds. Its such a nice and easy car to just drive that the issues it has with software really stands out.

Ioniq6 My First Electric Car

It is a fantastic vehicle. I prefer far over Tesla's I've driven. I would have chosen a 1 motor for longer range but good with two - more power than I should be allowed to drive. We purchased a plug-in-hybrid Tucson 2025 and realized we didn't need to be a two car family any longer so (sadly) turned in the leased Ioniq6 after two joyful years.

GREAT CAR

My 2023 Ioniq 6 is a GREAT car. I have almost 24,000 miles on it with NO problems. There are only 2 shortcomings for the car. One is that the back-up camera is almost useless at night and is totally useless in the rain. They should see what camera is used by Audi as their's is great under all conditions. Hyundai also needs to publish CONSISTENT SERVICE INTERVALS. one place says 7,000 miles, another 7,500 miles and the dealership says 8,000 miles. All of these are under "normal" driving conditions. Other than these two issues, this is a GREAT car. BTW, customer service at my local dealership during the sales and service events has been FANTASTIC.

A Very Good First EV

The Ioniq 6 has been a very good first electric car for us. It's allowed us to save a large amount by not having to buy gas at the high California prices. As senior citizens we don't have to commute to work, so we're able to charge efficiently using the provided stage on charger which takes a few days to get back to high charge levels. We've done several road trips and have become more comfortable with the charging process and have had excellent luck with the high speed Electrify AMerica chargers. I don't like the warning noise the car makes at low speeds. It's designed to warn pedestrians, but I think the sound cheapens the impression. I wish it were adjustable or optional. The car is very spacious for a sedan. The ride is a bit harsh and we have more road noise than I would like. Driving at posted speeds I have a range of about 300 miles.

This is my first electric vehicle and I could not be more satisfied. The only thing I had trouble with was my Apple phone opening the door and starting the car. Other than that such an excellent vehicle.

Other than the regular battery having to be replaced within 24 months from purchase, come on Hyundai we expected better from you considering the cost of the vehicle, it has been a great car.🚙

Overall good, but there are ergonomic and size issues

Range is good for the price. Steering wheel does not telescope out far enough. Turing radius is too large. Overall size needs to be somewhat smaller for ease of parking. ICCU failure was disappointing

Ioniq 6 is unreliable and overpriced

This has been the worst purchase of my life. The car is unreliable and will sporadically not turn on, even with a full battery charge, requiring a jump- as an EV! I've taken it into Hyundai multiple times and they can't find the source of the problem. They also keep my car for weeks on end. It has been a nightmare. I'd get rid of the car but even with $25k down, I'm still paying $900/month and upside down on the loan. This car causes nothing but stress. Don't get it!!!
