Fun car to drive but many issues with reliability

This car is so much fun to drive. But we have been stranded by the 12 volt system. This car had the iccu replaced twice and had numerous software updates.

Sleek and stylish but lacks the small things

Overall the vehicle is great, but there are small annoying things that don’t make sense. Like having to open my car door to then open my charging plug in door, not being able to leave vehicle on without it yelling at you, auto lock when walking away, the seats wear easily even after just one wear of normal use, a blower fan broke already… I am worried the car won’t last a long time due to cheap part. It looks great though!

Great car! Not ready for EVs for road trips yet

I didn’t like where the charger was and I would have liked a rear window windshield wiper. Also the GPS system is not very user friendly. I traded in the car last week.

High quality vehicle, the collision alerting is a little too hot, especially for turns, and forward collision alert while in reverse should be deactivated.

It’s good car

The vehicle is good but the issue is that the charging is limited and so it’s difficult for traveling and the battery charged seems to be not that longer when using the a/c or heater it could have been much better.

Battery and software can be improved

Battery degradation is visible year over year. When first purchased, 80% battery charge can run over 260miles. Now after 2 years, 80% gives me nearly 200 miles, which means my electric car actually cost more than gas car. Software wise, all the Smart features, can be improved. Lots of false positives or inaccurate alarms which surprises you while driving in a negative way.

I love my Ioniq 6

I love my car! Everywhere I go, I am constantly asked "what is that"? "Your car is beautiful"! I'm very happy with the appearance, amenities, everything about the car. I am still to this day very proud of my decision to choose Ioniq as a first EV purchase. I AM NOT disappointed. Great job Hyundai.

Happy With It. . .So Far

Any "kinks" early on were taken care of at my local dealership. Was concerned because my garage charger was getting hot--both in the actual charger nozzle and my house plug in outlet. Dealer took care of it--now seems fine. Otherwise, car is working well, looks great. ..will be bringing in shortly for a 16,000 mile "check up."
