2023 Ioniq 6

Got this with 13 K miles. I drive 150 miles comfortably without range-anxiety. It is sporty or dreamy , depending how you drive. It’s great !

Responsive engine with a comfortable ride

Electric battery provides reliable power, comfortable ride. Acceptable mileage range on full charge. The car has roomy interior for passengers or goods. Dashboard basics are easy to use. Lacks a good GPS. Computer updates should be available via Bluetooth rather than at service appointments. The 12 volt battery can be drained down leaving driver stranded. Encourage updates and fixes for these problems.

Good car, but could be better

I love most of the features of this car. The styling and performance especially. What really is a bummer is the lack of wireless CarPlay and the mediocre stereo. The sound quality is awful and it takes away from an otherwise great driving experience. I also noticed the uneven hood placement on my car. the hood lays slightly over the right side of the car. The was used as a corporate vehicle for the Hyundai dealership before they sold it to me. I would hope that if it was in n accident, it would have showed up on the Carfax...

A Love Hate Relationship

This is a fantastic vehicle , quiet, comfortable and quick. It is a pleasure when fully charged. Long trips are stressful and complicated.

Wonderful EV Sedan

I have test driven several EV’s over the years and the Ioniq 6 was the best by far. Comfort, range, amenities, performance, style, warranty and pricing were all competitive or even best in class. It drives and handles superbly and I love that while it has a modern look and interior, it isn’t in the minimalist camp of some EV’s. Range is as advertised or better and it’s sporty, but comfortable ride is amazing. I have the middle trim AWD model and lots to enjoy. Three things I’d change - more headroom in the back, wireless Bluetooth for CarPlay and mirrors that fold in as an option.

Still moving forward

love this car it's so fun to drive and handles great.all the recalls are a bit annoying but I'll deal and the sensor are a bit over active most of the time. Not enough charging stations available in the area, luckily I installed one at home. I also find the hood paint had chipped away too easily, I have multiple chips😞The dealership I have been using since moving to FL. last year are in no way knowledgeable about the car, have asked multiple questions about the car but they either make up answers or say they don't know🤷🏼 and will ask but never come back with an answer.

Great Electric Car

The Ioniq 6 does not get the recognition it deserves. This car is zippy, stylish, and reliable. I put on my tunes and zip through the traffic. Paired with an at home level 2 charger, you will never have to worry about range anxiety again.

Really Great

I have had my Ionic 6 for about 2-1/2 years now. I still love everything about it. It is so comfortable and easy to drive. My passengers in the back seats tell me that it is so roomy and comfortable. I really love the way it response on the open road and in traffic. I have a home charger which is great. Even though it takes four to six hours to charge from 50% to 100% at 48 amps, its okay for around town and short trips. Find charging stations, that work, for longer trips is more of a challenge. I'll be glad if there is ever an adaptor available so I can use the multitude of Tesla chargers. Overall, it is a great vehicle.

nice car but Battery degrades very fast

My car battery used to give 270+ miles for 80% charge in 1st year . but now 2nd year it gives around only 200+ Miles for 80% charge. Hyundai dealers and hyundai do not have any solution / fix for this problem.

Exceeded expectation in so many ways!

Coming from many German cars (and a Tesla), didn't have much expectation for the Ioniq 6. But boy was I surprised! The car feels peppy and nimble to drive (I had the AWD model), really fun in day to day driving. Interior is roomy and airy. While backseat headroom is not great, but mostly I have kiddo in the back, so not a problem. Interior and tech I would describe as "functional", cool styling, some material and fit and finish can certainly use some improvements. Also the EV aspects are great! Not quite meet the range as claimed, but my driving style certainly contribute to that (I am getting half the claimed range on my old Tesla, so). Charges really fast as well (as long as you prep the battery). Overall, for the price I paid for the lease, I am super happy about this car
