Love it...except for one item

Great driving experience, phenomenal acceleration. The ride is a bit hard, but handling is great. My one really significant complaint almost had me filing a Lemon Law suit. For a few months earlier this year, the 12v battery repeatedly drained and the car needed to be jump started. Took it to the dealer shop several times and they were stymied, as was national Hyundai, who could neither suggest a fix nor were willing to take the car back. The NJ Lemon Law department was very helpful, and suggested checking for 3rd party apps that might be pinging the car. It took me a bit to realize that having signed up for PSEG's discounted electricity plan, their 3rd party was pinging the car -- I confirmed with them that they ping it every 30', meaning 48 times per day. After 2-3 days the battery would die. When I cancelled that, the problem resolved (I also turned off the Hyundai app just for good measure). Although the light that signifies the 12v is being charged from the main battery still comes on quite frequently, so there does seem to be an ongoing issue of the battery draining too easily. Plus, PSEG cancelled the discount for Hyundai anyway, saying the quality of the data was inadequate. I was not at all impressed by Hyundai corporate's response, as they did not seem to care about resolving a customer complaint.

Outstanding Comfort, Build Quality, Performance, and Fun to Drive

If you are looking for an EV sedan, look no further. The Ioniq 6 has it all. I've always liked Hyundai. I've purchased (new) two Elantras and one Sonata. But the Ioniq was by far the best decision. Comfort, styling, tech, and fun to drive.

Mileage estimate for the car borders on fraud

Love the car except for the battery range. Initially we were told it was 336 miles. We have never approached that number. 250 miles is closer to the truth and if you are traveling on the freeway, it"s closer to 200 miles. Mileage should be determined when the vehicle is going 65 mph with the radio and air conditioner turned on. most people want to know how far they can go on a Long range trip.

A really great car that's still fun to drive after 15,000 miles

The Ioniq 6 is nimble, with outstanding acceleration and handling. The driver assist safety features perform superbly on our curvy mountain roads in the remote part of Colorado where we live. The NACS charger adaptor opens up a whole new realm of charging options and helps dampen down whatever traces of range anxiety I had. I used to say that my 1965 red Ford Mustang was the best car I ever owned, but the Ioniq 6 has bumped it off.

A Beautifully Engineered and Performing Vehicle

Having replaced a 20 year old vehicle with limited features, I have been amazed at the thoughtful engineering packed into my Hyundai 2024 Ioniq 6. Virtually all vehicle functions have been placed there with driver or the passenger in mind. Although I cannot speak to vehicle durability at this time, the Ioniq 6 is a pleasure to drive.
