A Beautifully Engineered and Performing Vehicle

Having replaced a 20 year old vehicle with limited features, I have been amazed at the thoughtful engineering packed into my Hyundai 2024 Ioniq 6. Virtually all vehicle functions have been placed there with driver or the passenger in mind. Although I cannot speak to vehicle durability at this time, the Ioniq 6 is a pleasure to drive.

Amazing car!

I love this car. I never thought I would drive or own an electric car. This car has completely changed my thoughts on electric vehicles. Easy to charge at home and on the road. Has cool features like the i-pedal and i love the torque it produces. All around amazing car. My only concern would be the life of batteries and the longevity of the vehicle. So far seems to be low maintenance. I've been driving for over a year now and have had no issues.

Well Balanced

Everything you want in a car and nothing you don’t want. It’s hard to find anything wrong with a car like this. It checks all the boxes and looks super sleek. Definitely a head turner and very fun to dive.

Great vehicle but needs some improvements

During my time with the vehicle, the charging port couldn’t work at all for DC fast charging, I felt a nice feature for the vehicle is auto lock after a certain proximity .

I love this car!

Great car. Got the real wheel drive extended range version. Epa 361 miles on a 77kw battery. Love this things! I drive from state to state for work and don't have any issues. And the charging speed is awesome. 17% to 80% 18 minutes; can't beat that. Just wish the battery was bigger, like 100kw, could probably get 500 miles a charge out of it. Wireless android auto or apple car play would be nice too. But that is my only complaints.

great ride, great options, poor range

Handling and comfort are great. There's a spacious interior for both front and rear passengers. Options are top-notch. Styling is impressive and thoughtful. The major problem with this car is range. Four-wheel is great for tracking and performance but terrible for range. All this would be manageable if I lived in a home with a fast charger, but relying on public charging stations and the vagaries of the power they deliver is problematic. Sure you can charge quickly; the car will accept ultra-fast charging. I have charged from 10% to 85% in 17 minutes. but many stations with 350Kw chargers deliver 100Kw or less. That level of charge will have you waiting for 40-45 minutes.

Fun to drive ! Plenty of power! Smooth and comfortable ride!!

Just a fun and enjoyable car to ride! It’s great not having to visit gas stations anymore! Plug it in a couple of times and it’s ready to roll! Smooth, quiet and quick with great styling!

Hyundai Ioniq 6 Owner Review

I’ve been driving the Hyundai Ioniq 6 and overall, I think it’s an excellent car. The torque and speed are standout features — it’s quick off the line and fun to drive especially when merging onto the highway. The range, which typically falls between 260 to 275 miles, works just fine for my needs. I also have an in-home charger, so charging overnight is convenient and eliminates most of the range anxiety. That said, the public charging infrastructure still leaves a lot to be desired. It's improving slowly, but it's not quite where it needs to be yet, especially for longer road trips. A few quirks keep it from being perfect. The window switches are placed in the center console rather than on the doors, which means I often have to glance down and search for them — not ideal when you’re trying to keep your eyes on the road. Also, the right-side windshield wiper can’t be lifted when washing the windshield, which is oddly frustrating. Still, those are minor complaints in the grand scheme. I really enjoy this car and would definitely choose the Ioniq 6 again. Hyundai has done a great job overall.
