Good but not very good

Great EV performance. Exterior and interior design has not worn well. This trim is missing crucial features - seat memory, power passenger seat, sunroof for the price. Too many recalls!

I’ve been driving my 2024 Hyundai IONIQ 6 for almost two years , and it’s been an excellent experience overall. The sleek, futuristic design stands out, and I regularly get compliments on its appearance. The ride is incredibly smooth and quiet, making both daily commutes and longer road trips enjoyable. The electric range has been reliable, and charging has been convenient whether I’m at home or using public fast chargers. The interior feels modern and comfortable, with plenty of technology that’s easy to use after a short learning curve. One of my favorite features is how responsive the car feels to drive\. It has plenty of acceleration when needed, while still being efficient. The driver-assistance features also add confidence and convenience on the highway.

Ioniq6 SEL

I loved having the car as my first ev. I've been happy with it as a daily commuter and all the space it has. The wired android auto is pretty confusing. My wife has an older elantra with wireless... Other negative is that the cheap humidity sensor is mounted to the windshield. I had a sensor go bad and the clip is broken. Local dealer said I had to pay 2000 for a new windshield. Not a very good design. Or maybe it's a good excuse to not honor the warranty?

Prone to flat tires

The car itself is roomy inside. When folding down the back seats there trunk is not flat so it’s hard to put large items in. It is prone to flat tires if driving in areas with pot holes. The battery maximum is less than 300 miles. Lot’s of road feel. The sport mode works well. It will tell me to keep my hands on the wheel when they are.

Overall good - however

Overall I like this car, however there are a few things that are frustrating. 1) from day one there is a whistling from the passenger side door like air coming in while you drive. No one has been able to find it. 2) the brakes squeak. I have taken it in multiple times and they tell me that the brakes are fine. 3) the Hyundai app will not synch with my service appointments and i'm supposed to go in to the app and add them myself? 4) the BEEPING! the sensors are too sensitive and it beeps all the time. there won't be anything near me and it goes off. or i'm sitting still in traffic and nothings moving and it beeps. it just always beeps. and there's no way to turn it off (except for the button that pauses it for a minute and i'm pressing that all the time.)

Good reliability, easy maintenance

I love the safety features, parking assist, lane keep assist. Those plus the reliability and ease of maintenance makes it a perfect car. It just works, every time. It’s a bonus that it can help prevent accidents by automatically braking or helping you park also.

Miles per kWh are not what I experienced with my Tesla Model 3 but the smooth comfortable ride I have with my Ionic 6 is the best.
