I love everything but the tires.

I love this car. It is fun to drive, feels safe, and is very roomy. It's very comfortable and handles well. It's my first EV and won't be my last. I did have an issue with the special EV tires and switched them to regular tires after two of them failed in the first few months of ownership, which made me feel unsafe. There is no spare tire. Since I put regular tires on it, I have had no issues with the tires. I had a number of terrible experiences at the dealership I went to and will never go back there - in Fishkill NY.

Troubles with ICCU System & A Number of Other Issues

There are several problems with my new car. The ICCU system worked properly is the biggest, and now it has failed and in the shop for an extend d time. It’s been upwards of a week and i get no loner car. Other issues are the backup camera is not functional at night due to tail light glare. I put a shade (a small piece of plastic) to reduce glare and it helped a lot. I am also having issues with the rear seat belts, they alarm and have to be buckled even when no one is in the rear seat. Lastly Hyundai sold me this vehicle with the ICCU recall, which i have recently learned its a known issue and the recall did not fix the problem.

Upper scale meets average performance

Coming from the ioniq 5 to the 6, I expected a bit more of an upgrade in terms of performance, features and quality but feel that the bar was missed. The interior quality seems much cheaper and like being in a solid shell with plastic parts aching and flexing around. Still no wireless CarPlay despite the hotspot feature being enabled. I was fortunate to be one of the Ioniq 5 first owners when it was announced and came out and you can noticed the difference in what Hyundai decided to cut cost on.

Great Vehicle that will be left to rot

Absolutely love driving my Ioniq 6. Handling is wonderful. It is super roomy in the front and back. Charging is quick and easy. Sometimes the doors are not as responsive to locking and unlocking as they should be, either by proximity or by touch. The biggest hangup is the infotainment system. Not only is the Hyundai installed one not updated regularly, but it lacks support for wireless CarPlay and Android Auto. The salesperson made it sound like that was coming when we purchased. Over a year later and it has become clear that Hyundai makes no plans to update the capabilities. I'm guessing this car will continue to lack updates in the future and stay essentially unchanged, despite the ability to update these items.
