Great EV after owning a Tesla Model 3

All great except a few issues. When in smart cruise control on corners, the vehicle looses contact with the leading car and accelerates. Also, any over the air updates to the vehicle are not well explained and easily accessible. Minor issues for a car I consider the best that I've had.

Great Vehicle

This is such a great vehicle for those who want to experience an EV. Truly one of the best. With that being said, there is a slight gimmick with the sensors on the front bumper where it tells you that you're in a "crash" proximity and the alert goes off, even while waiting at the light. Not sure how to fix this, I've done what I could. Otherwise, great car. Great speed, handling, comfort, etc.

I have had wonder experiences driving my q6 and enjoy the ride. It has a terrific pickup speed and I feel I am taking off a jet plane. So far every is working great. My only problem is is using all the buttons on the steering wheel wheel!

I love my Ioniq 6 -- Sporty, Great Performance, Eyecatching

I absolutely love my IONIQ 6. In fact, we’re a two-IONIQ family — we also own an IONIQ 5 — and the IONIQ 6 is the one that still gets people to stop and ask me about it. It’s sporty, stylish and distinctive, with the kind of sleek design and driving experience I associate with much more expensive cars. To me, it offers a lot of what people like about a Tesla, but at a much more accessible price. I regularly get compliments on the car and questions from people who want to know more about it. I highly recommend the IONIQ 6, which is why I’m disappointed that Hyundai is no longer offering it. I really hope Hyundai brings it back. The IONIQ family needs a sporty sedan, and the IONIQ 6 fills that role beautifully. It gives Hyundai a compelling alternative to cars like Tesla and Lexus. I originally signed a three-year lease with the expectation that I would turn it in and move into an updated IONIQ 6 when the time came. Now that the model is no longer available, I may have to rethink that plan. I might just have to hold on to this gem. The only significant issue I've experienced was a 12-volt battery failure, which is a known issue that affected both our IONIQ 5 and IONIQ 6. The charger was repaired under warranty, and I haven't had any battery problems since. Overall, I couldn't be happier with the IONIQ 6. It's a terrific car, and I hope Hyundai recognizes what a special vehicle it has created and brings the IONIQ 6 back to the lineup.

Great commuter car! Even if you have to travel regionally. It has speed, efficiency, range, quick charging and comfort. As well as just enough tech with HDA and Android Auto to get you though anything. :)

I was glad to have an option for an affordable electric sedan. It's a shame that no non-N models will be available in this country anymore. For now, please continue support with more updates for Gen5W, and please solve the ICCU issue.

First electric car for a very tall driver

I am very happy with my Ioniq 6 SEL. I purchased it at my daily commuter about 1 year ago and I am extremely satisfied. My commute is about an hour each way and I'm saving a fortune on gas. Also, no oil changes and the brakes will last forever due to the regenerative breaking. I love the instant acceleration. It is absolutely a safety feature to be able to accelerate effortlessly when merging, passing, or turning across traffic. I am exceptionally tall (6'9") and have a tough time finding vehicles that fit me. The leg room in the 6 is exceptional. The head room is adequate. But I could not get the limited because the sun roof drops the top of the car just a little too much for me to still fit. And I can't ride in the backseat due to insufficient headroom. If you need more headroom, the Ioniq 5 has more. I just liked the styling of the 6 better. Hyundai was offering a deal of a free home level 2 charger or $500 credit at a Charge Point. I took the credit because to get the charger you need to use their installers who wanted to charge me $1000 just to plug it in. I'm very happy with my purchase and would certainly buy it again. Or maybe I would buy the 5 so that I can upgrade to limited and get that sweet sweet ventilated seat.

It's a good looking car, and it runs fine, but compared to other electric vehicles the software is a joke and the app integration is horrible. Like 10 years behind the market share's leader.
