Road Noise

Overall, I like the car. but it has significant road noise over 40 miles an hour. I was also disappointed that some of the what I thought were standard features were not available

I love my Ionic 6. It drives like a dream. Its range is more than I need. So with my home charger, I never have to stop to refuel it.

Love the 6 (this is my second one) wish they were easier to find

This is my second leased Ionic 6, and it was extremely hard to find. Based on the quality of the first ionic 6, I was sure I wanted a Hyundai and I was going to have to settle for the ionic 5 which I did not want because I already own a Ford Expedition

Excellent EV Sedan

I'm a big fan of sedans and EVs. This one is the best there is. The price matches that level of quality but it is definitely worth it. I've owned the car for a year, and it has been a fantastic experience.

The Ioniq 6 is a winner!

After driving several competing EV’s, we chose the Hyundai Ioniq and haven’t looked back. It is fast and fast charging! We have owned Audi cars for over 20 years and the Ioniq 6 compares well to those cars in road handling and blows them out of the water with its 2-motor acceleration!

2025 Ioniq 6 Review

my first venture with an electric car. for the last 20 years I have been driving mostly trucks and SUVs. So the Ioniq6 is quick, very maneuverable and fast by comparison. It Charges overnight in my garage. AT 80% the range is forecasted at 240 miles. AT 100% around 310. You actually get less. Road trips are frustrating in that its not easy finding high performance chargers. No mechanical issues

Good car. probably will buy another.

Two issues: 1, the Perelli tires are not strong enough to handle New Mexico roads, 2, the switch on the steering wheel that engages the cruise control and increases or decreases the cruise control speed should be two separate switches. The current configuration is too sensitive and often disengages the cruise control when trying just to change speeds.

Overall a good quality electric vehicle! If you decide electric you must have a type 2 charger installed!! I do like the vehicle but wish I had went with an suv! And I miss my front cameras!! For the pricing of this it should have been a loaded vehicle!!

Almost great

I really enjoy the car — fun to drive, comfortable, appreciate a sedan option. A few things that are hope Hyundai considers for future models — please offer easier controls for basics like AC/heat. There’s nothing wrong with old fashioned buttons and knobs. It can be difficult to see the touch options, especially with sunglasses, and the area to touch is tiny. I also find this car to be unnecessarily large. Why not more drunk space at least? And would be great if trunk opening was larger when seats down to be able to fit large items.

Beautiful Looking Car

My Hyundai is a gorgeous looking car. It drives extremely well and we are saving a lot of money because its electric and we don't have to buy gas. I don't notice much difference in our electric bill.

2 year lease experiment

1. 20'' wheels with 40 Profile makes great cornering at the expense of easy curb rash when parking. Those are expensive wheels. I couldn't get any Ioniq 6 with 18 or 19" wheels: the few vehicles on the dealer's lot were identical, SEL AWD most likely silver color. Also those tires wheels cost 10% less range. Why is the choice so narrow? It would help to park if one had a surround camera but that's only on a Limited. My $32K Chevy Bolt has a surround camera. Those 40 profiles make the car ride harshly. 2. Battery preconditioning requires the user to plan a charger as a destination and it has to be within a certain range. What a pain. Let me just manually turn it on when I start approaching the location I chose. 3. Here's an SEL with a MSRP of $48K and doesn't have a heated steering wheel. Really? 4. Dealer involvement has the usual terrible haggling. I can never get a straight answer, hour waiting for another manager person to get back while I'm there. Sales personnel really don't know much about the functions of electric vehicles. Don't get me started on dealers. 5. Plug N charge only works in a very limited capacity, just ChargePoint. But I understand that may be the fault of the electric vehicle charging network. But it doesn't work with Electrify America. 6. Backup light illumination; when backing up in the dark if you touch the brakes the brake lights entirely wash out the camera view. Also if it's raining or has rained the camera view is distorted because the camera has no protection from these elements. 7. I believe I had some navigational OTA upgrades but no other upgrades. Take a note from Tesla where owners report fixes or enhanced functions.
