Great fuel economy. Perfect during high gas prices.

Perfect timing for this little car. Acquired in June 2021, when vehicles started disappearing off dealer lots. Great sound and connectivity in base model. More than 60+mpg in warmer weather. 45+mpg in the middle of winter in Michigan. Nothing compares to Hyundai Ioniq. Too bad it is discontinued by Hyundai.

Better than a Prius

A Prius without the ugly. Better performance and gas mileage vs. all the Prius models. I love Toyotas, but they dropped the Lexus CT200h. The Ioniq Hybrid has worked very well. I opted for the Ioniq HEV Blue, but had to go out of state to find a decent color. Got one in Intense Blue without all the undesired options in the higher option models. Would have liked to have controllable regen and deluxe stereo system. Global Diagnostic System (GDS) software and interface required for many maintenance and repair tasks, making DIY much more difficult.

Awesome gas mileage

Very happy with the vehicle, especially in today’s gas price situation. It is slow to accelerate and doesn’t have a lot of creature comforts but has been reliable so far and I’m happy with it. The rims are ugly and there is only one USB port.

Great for the average person

A good commuter car. Great for average needs for the average person. Fuel economy is great for long trips. Android auto is a little buggy but that's an android problem. Plenty of space, I managed to fit a whole grill in it.

Amazing car at an amazing price

Vehicle is good on gas and very reliable… wireless Android auto makes it a pleasure to play my music… the seats are extremely comfortable and with the transmission the car is very peppy around town. the compact size makes it a pleasure parking when I’m in the cities AMAZING Car overalls

The ioniq, part of the future of driving

The ioniq is a step into the automotive future. Its a fun car to drive. It’s a safe car to drive, with good driver visibility, great breaking capability, and I t’s a comfortable car to drive. Having great mileage is also a plus for these times.

Great value, economical, comfortable to drive

Purchased for fuel economy. Very pleased with city and highway fuel mileage. Ioniq is comfortable for around town and highway driving. Provides sufficient space for two people and luggage. Would replace with same model or with additional features.

2021 Hyundai Ioniq Hybrid

Great mileage in summer 54 to 58 with minimum highway, city only 58 to 60. All highway drops to 46 but winter time it drops to 37 to 39 when not warming car up for 3 to 5 minutes and when warming up drops to 29 to 32 mpg. You do hear road noise but not too bad but, besides these issues it's a great car rides smooth no problem going on long trips or just around town.

Car is really good I love Hyundai brand but usa dealer and service stupid

This is really nice and economical car can fight with Tesla every body love interior and space amazing fuel economy I did first 6 months 65 miles for gallon any road conditions now 66500 mile have done now 55-60 really nice I used Hyundai for more than 35 years it’s nice with out dealerships and service personal

Great vehicle

I would recommend this vehicle mileage is off the chain I’m waiting the day to take an interstate road trip to hit the 70 mpg rating overall it’s a great car! I’ll probably be back to buy another when I get this one paid off.

Stylish, solid performance, with highest "real 57mpg" of all hybrids

I have grown to love this car. It is fun to drive, sporty looks, with feature rich comfort, and is loaded with all of the newest safety protection for me and my family. I particularly like the crash avoidance, Blind spot and lane keep features.

Never again

Overall, the vehicle is good. I have had issues with the computer system since the day I bought it. If the dealership would have taken the car back after trying to give it back within 48 hours, I would have. My car is one year old this month and I’ve had nothing but problems with the auto hold, emergency parking brake, cruise control, and all lane assist features. The dealership will not fix the problem as it doesn’t happen every single time the car is turned on. They’re telling me it is not an issue because it does not have a safety threat to it.

This car is amazing and very affordable. I bought this car expecting greatness and that is all I have received. It has saved me a lot of money on gasoline than I would’ve with a non hybrid car. I would recommend this car to others.

Excellent fully featured vehicle

The 2021 Ioniq is a significant improvement over my 2017 Ioniq. Most notably - manual regenerative braking, lane centering and automatic speed adjust advanced smart cruise, automatic high beam assist, and automatic brake hold. The manual regenerative braking does have a safety limitation that Hyundai needs to address but overall, this is an excellent vehicle, which I love and would not hesitate to purchase again.

I love my Ioniq

I didn't want a new car until I test drove an Ioniq and the only one on the lot was new and I loved everything about it. A new car is a good thing if you take of it and keep it for as long as I tend to. As far as value for the money, I won't know for a few years, but I am betting that I will be happy.

Easy going plug in

We have the plug in hybrid limited,It is not a fast car, but never feels underpowered.Comfortable, nice ride not sporty but handles very well.Very good visibility,easy to use controls and feels like s solid car.We have it for only a month so actual ev and gas mileage is to early to be actuate.The only thing for us is that we cannot open the trunk with the remote.All in all an easy ride with no real bad surprises.

Love the Ioniq, I will buy another and I recommend it to everyone who asks. This is our 6th Hyundai and have been happy with each one. Hybrids, we’ve had 2 a Sonata and the Ioniq, but this Ioniq is by far the best we’ve ever had

Top of line is best for safety and other features

Liked the Ioniq hybrid better than Prius. Winter and short trips reduces gas milage significantly. Maximum mileage if keep eye on instantaneous mpg and back off slightly on accelerator to get to max. The battery full gage is normally a little above or below half full. Hyundai
