She's the Speed Queen of my deams

I am absolutely obsessed with my Kona N. She's small, sporty, quick, and a smooth ride. I wanted something smaller in a hatchback and a sporty car with enough speed to blow past the boys revving at the stoplight. I love using the drive assist, and the computer functions are easy to navigate. All around fantastic car. Would buy again.

Love this car. The 2024 model redid the body style and I hate it. They also discontinued the N version which I love.

Kona N Review

The price of a kona N is a steal of a deal to get into the N realm. The car is extremely fun and engaging to drive, and I would recommend the N platform to anyone looking for a more budget friendly performance car. Is it the highest of build quality? No, flaws for sure exist and random things rattle. Are all the materials used premium? Not at all, theres a lot of plastic and random gaps, the roof rack is pealing already. But sheesh, you get in, and switch it to N mode once warmed up and you forget all about those small flaws.

No value here

Tires lasted less than 10k miles and were unsafe to drive in temperatures below 40f. Sales person failed to relay this and there were no warnings with the vehicle. The cars value has also dropped faster than any other car owned. (>10k after purchasing)

The car is almost perfect. Having owned this for a little over 2 years now, I’ve noticed some squeaks inside the cabin, but the vehicle performs great. The only issue is that the N mode buttons reset to their default settings every now and again. This is a known issue with the 2023 Kona N with no known fix.

Fun small quick little car

Small fun CUV, everything is perfect about the car, good MPG for what the car has, safety features are great, only down side is, if you have a child/infant seat in the back, it really limits the space in the driver and passenger as the back seats have a small leg space

The Go Kart

This little car is a perfect everyday driver. It has a great blend of power, fuel mileage, and handling. The N rides pretty roughly, so I call it the Go Kart. I've always had such cars with power and stiff suspensions. Others may not like it but I do. Too bad it isn't made anymore.

A true M car thanks to Albeirt Bierman

A true hot hatch (should not of been marketed as a SUV). Loads of fun to drive. The entire power train and suspension is one of the best. Transmission is by far the best ive ever owned. The user interface on head unit surpasses any other i have owned (2017 lexus gx460 and 2024 subaru outback wilderness).

Amazing, Fun, and comfortable

I’ve now had my Kona N for two years! Even to this day I drive with a smile on my face, not to mention it’s unique look people see it and ask “what model is that car?” It’s always funny to see the shocked faces of people when I tell them it’s a Hyundai. Thank you for making this N version of the Kona in my opinion it’s like the Veloster N due to its hot hatch look and I’m lucky to be able to own one! From the bottom of my heart I thank you Hyundai for making a dream of mine come true!

Fun and Unique

This car is very different than almost anything else on the road. The highlight is the performance. I really love this car. Compared to the Elantra and Veloster, this is a great choice for daily use. You don't have to worry about scraping your bumper nearly as much.
