Good car

Good car! Like the car in the winter. Works good in the snow. I don’t like the lights at night. You can’t see crap . The low beams don’t work. Can’t see the ditch on high or low. I feel like the high beams only go around 20 feet ahead of the low.

Handles really well…better than Jeep.

I live in Co. and do a lot of mountain driving. I was really surprised at how well the Kona handles. I have not driven off road, but handled great in AWD though the snow, better than my 2 prior jeeps!

My Kona

Overall the car fits my needs and my budget. Very comfortable to drive and energy efficient. Great warranty too. So far very dependable and looks great I love the turbo option it does not disappoint it will set you back in your seat

Disgraceful!

Hyundai should be ashamed selling this car with a bad engine and telling people to keep driving it until cooperate approves fixing! It’s a lemon! I have called the Ny state attorney general! Highway safety! FTC! Next is the media and a lawyer. I can’t believe this is how you treat your costumers! I have owned Hyundai’s my whole life! I will never purchase another again!

PERFORMANCE IS GREAT.

I TRADED IN MY 2013 ELANTRA FOR THE SOUL PURPOSE OF ACQUIRING AN AWD VEHICLE. THE ELANTRA WWAS THE BEST VEHICLE I HAVE EVER OWNED. SO THE CHOICE OF A NEW HYUNDAi WAS EASY. I AM VERY SATISFIED WITH MY KONA.

Fun and zippy

Not as good on gas as you would think. Some minor annoying traits include no spare tire, seats tough to clean, back seat mats don't fit the floor- they are too big, sunroof is loud when open, etc. But the car is not bad, overall.

Not a bad vehicle seems to be put have been to dealership 3 times together cheaply

Dealer seems more concerned about selling vehicle’s than anything else have been to dealership 3 times and no one even seems interested in looking for noise never has vehicle been taken out of dealership for a ride to find noise

Great gas mileage, stylish, but...

Where is the lift gate button??? Drives me insane not having one, especially during Covid with curbside pickups. Also, beware there's no spare tire, it's a tire fixing kit. Makes me really nervous not having a spare tire. It's AWD, but doesn't really feel like it in the snow. Cute car, great on gas mileage, but lacking some features I'm used to. Luckily, with Covid, I don't drive as much as I used to.

Kona

Car is good, but Bluelink system horrible, and neither Dealer nor Hyundai can or will make it work reliably. I thought I would have a remote start system and other features, but I don't. I guess I paid $1000 or so for nothing.

Love my car

I did my research and found the Kona to be perfect for what I needed. Didn’t look anywhere else. My car has everything I desired. Suggest shopping for a good dealership before purchasing your car. Sadly you deal with them to get your perfect car. My Kona is perfect for me.

Smooth drive

It feels very safe to drive if you are an anxious driver like me. I like the cameras, the sounds it makes when another car is next to you or when you are backing up. I don’t care for the plastic felt screen they put in the back of the truck because it cracked right away. It needs more durability.

Don’t buy

Road noise is horrible, engine stalls, paint chips, safety features do not work properly. Back up camera works half the time. I leased a 2018 and had no issues. Purchased 2020 brand new and wished I never purchased.

This vehicle is not in my possession in the longer I took it to the Cadillac dealership to purchase it for me and I bought me a new Cadillac one month later due to your horrible customer service. I took the loss and I don’t care

Great little car

I bought this car because I needed a small safe car I could street park in NYC with ease. It was a little hero. My child totaled it over the summer and it saved their life. We loved this car so much. He was our peppy little friend to the bitter end. Even limped 300 miles back to NYC safely after being driven off the road. A great car. No regrets except that our time together was too short.

Engine recalls ruined the Kona for me

I loved my Kona until the engine recalls began to come out. It was not properly diagnosed twice before the engine finally died and now has to be replaced but it’s about a two to three month waiting time to get the Kona back. Hyundai’s warranty apparently just continues on and doesn’t renew if there’s a major recall that causes a whole engine to be replaced. I plan to trade in this vehicle for something other than a Hyundai due to the engine issues as well as the lack of help with the warranty, seems like an engine recall that wasn’t properly identified by a Hyundai certified service team at the location where the vehicle was purchased and required a new engine to be put in would warrant some flexibility on the warranty but apparently not.

Fwd collision issues, computer

Fwd collision problems. Electrical/computer problem. When you buy a new vehicle you expect not to have problems like this. Other wise I like the vehicle. I've known others with same car that have problems as well.

I love my car I’m a nurse and it drives great I get a great economy on the mileage the only problem is I would like something bigger but this is a great car for me for now I see nothing wrong with this car it’s comfortable it’s useful and it’s economical

Kona-Love it!!

I bought the Hyundai Kona! It handles so well. The gas mileage is terrific!! I love all of the cool features it has. I love the blue color!! ? it's great for those long trips and for the short trips around town.

Great car! Fun to drive! Easy on gas. Love my Kona!

Great car. I bought it new. It’s easy on gas. Great pick up with the turbo. Wonderful car for a single person or retired couple. It’s so easy to drive. I love my Kona. Looks great. Kinda sporty. Can’t say enough good things about this car. Hyundai is very reliable.

Maybe it's just a few cases but the engine is a mess it shutdowns while driving..at least that my experience

It's a lovely car very stylish, compact, audio sound us very good, easy to operate, low fuel consumption if you wanna save some $$.. iny case.I have issues with the engine . But overall is a great car
