REPEATED DEAD BATTERY ISSUES!

Had major issues first 8 months. Hyundai 112 in Medford NY terrible customer service!!! Thereafter had it serviced in Atlantic Hyundai Bayshore NY. Atlantic Hyundai solved all issues in timely courteous knowledgeable manner.

Review of the 2024 Kona

The 2024 Kona is great for the gas mileage, which is the reason I purchased it. The body is sleek and nice looking, however the car can be annoying, always alerting you to take a break, even if you just got into the car, always alerting and trying to stop you for the smallest things (like if someone is turning, and you are still slowly rolling behind it, it freaks out, etc). The button you push on the stearing wheel to speak for GPS is so slow and then 99% of the time never works- always says oops there was a problem, I have to load the map on my phone and then comes up on the screen. But the most annoying thing is I have had this squeak in my brakes for more than half the time I have own the vehicle and Ive had them check it when I have an oil change and they tell me they cant hear it.

Love My Kona!

The new appearance of the 2024 Kona not only caught my eye, but those of others. With the same engine as the Sonata but a smaller vehicle it has great pickup. The only issues I've had was learning the funky gear shifter, several recalls and a tire that would need inflation several times a year. It was always the same tire. The service personnel was great in checking into why, but couldn't find the problem.

Great car but gas tank is too small

Two changes would make this car perfect for me. The gas tank is too small. It only holds 12 gallons. Also there is no closed storage between the front seats.

My 2024 Hyundai Kona

I’ve not ever had any trouble out of this coma. It’s just a year old, but it’s a modest vehicle if you just want to work and play this is a great vehicle to use for work and for playing and it’s a reasonable in price.

Hyundai kona review

The auto breaking that occurs when the car is in reverse or coming up to a slowing vehicle is horrible. It is going to cause someone to have a accident. The side view warning system is also afwul, it gives warning dings when cars are no where near cause second guessing when switching lanes.

Not a good day for my Kona!

My Kona is 14 months old and barely 10,000 miles. This morning I woke up to a dead battery. Took it in to the service department and still waiting to hear what is wrong. They think something is draining the battery. I have told them several times that I constantly receive messages that my car has been left idling and has been shut off. The time stamp of the message is always the moment I start my car to drive somewhere. I have a terrible time with the radio in my car. My radio is off when I shut off my car at the end of a trip, and then when I start it up for the next trip Reuters comes on without me turning anything on. I do not listen to Reuters and never have it on. I have a difficult time getting my local radio station to come on. I usually have to verbally ask the car to turn it on for me.
