Why?

I really just want to be able to adjust the screen brightness manually, or set it for specific times of day. I hate that it dims and brightens as soon as it senses a lighting change. If I go under a bridge, it thinks it's dark outside. It's so distracting and annoying. Why does it have to switch to night mode back and forth for an entire drive at dawn or dusk? Truly feels infuriating because I like so much about this vehicle, but I cannot stand the lighting sensor.

I want to love it, but...

I wish the engine had 20 more horsepower the fit and finishes outstanding. I wish the cruise control had a resume button and I’m now gonna be on my third driver seat because the material wears prematurely. I’m sure the dealership is gonna fight me on this.

Cute, economic but questionable reliability

Great fuel economy - I average about 41 mpg. Love the updated, stylish look. I experience random performance interruptions. On one occasion all of the dash lights went off for a few seconds while driving. The following day the vehicle would not accelerate after stopping for a traffic light. After restarting the car 3 times, it operated as expected. Local dealer could find no defects or explanation for these events.

I love my Kona! Great little/big car.

I had an Elantra in blue, loved that car! It was in a garage fire. I miss that car. It's fun how our cars are a part of the family. When I went to replace my car, I wanted something roomier and a lift gate in the back. We have fancy heating and cooling in our Kona now. I feel spoiled. The Kona is becoming the family favorite.

Fan Runs when car is off

Fan continues to run for an extended period of time after the car is turned off. I do not drive much and it happens 90% of the time. I have to restart and turn car off again and keep checking to make sure it is off. Back seats are not roomy enough for back seat riders.

Horrible battery problems in first year.

I love the vehicle but still can't trust it after numerous failures.The first year, i'm never sure if i'm going to have battery issues.
