Kona is better than Elantra

I traded my 2020 Elantra in for the 2024 Kona. I wanted more height in the vehicle as Colorado snow can get bad. I love all the features of the Kona. The futuristic look and feel is nice.

Runs SUPER Hot!

The dealership Crain Hyundai was junk and Hyundai Motors wouldn't do a dang thing about it because the dealerships are basically franchises! The car for an N-line low power and low torque should have got the base model.

Generally Good

A generally good car. I have the 2024 Kona Limited with AWD, and it's been fairly solid. Not too big, nimble to drive and not cumbersome to parallel park. Sport mode changes performance in a fun way, and the inside is straightforward clean design. I very much appreciate the physical buttons for everything I need to change while driving. However, I'm having engine issues after 2 years and less than 20k miles (under warranty, yes, but a headache nonetheless) and the radio doesn't play sound about 50% of the time now. Generally comfortable, generally reliable, but I'd be lying if I said I didn't miss my 2022 Kona with a smaller frame and fewer issues.

Cruse control to slow to go back to set speed. Does not run well on 85 octane gasoline.

My Kona is the very first brand new I ever owned. I am 67 years old and so very proud of my Kona. It’s an excellent vehicle, runs smoothly and is excellent on gas. I highly recommend the Hyundai Kona.

Low pick up and sounds like a truck

I was happy with my first Kona so I got a 2 nd one. This one has little pick up and sounds like a truck. Apparently the engine isn’t enough to support this vehicle

Dependable,price,alot standard features great gas mileage and I have two kona's a 2018 and a 2024 . The 2018 has 86,000 miles on it great car no problems!!!

Great car

I've really enjoyed my Kona. It has lots of great features (so many I still haven't tried all of them). It's comfortable and fun to drive and gets decent gas mileage. My only wish is that it had been available as a hybrid. I drove hybrids for close to 20 years before the Kona, but I'm limited on what I could get based on what will fit in my garage. The Kona was a good alternative.
