Should have bought a hybrid

It's an okay car. Small with large trunk and comfy seats. Takes skill to round corners without going in a ditch because steering radius is so small.

Great mid-sized vehicle

Comfortable, fun, responsive and love the overall look. I wish the hybrid option would have been more affordable and would have really been excited if the interest rates were not so high when we bought.

I’ve had the car for just over a year now and have enjoyed driving it. The dash layout is my favorite part of the car. Really enjoy the 360 camera. I have noticed when driving in the rain it sounds like rain is getting into the car though. I find no evidence of that just the sound. And I don’t know why Hyundai vehicles don’t allow you to lock the car with the car running.

Problems, many problems

1st the computer controlling Bluelink goes out and take 4 weeks to get it fixed. 2nd oil pressure light comes on and car loses power, 2 times that happens and dealership cannot find problem after several days, factory says drive it and take pictures of light next time it happens, so factory is calling me a liar and saying 2 times in never happened.

Best brand on the market

I absolutely love my Kona and love driving it. It drives so smoothly and is always dependable. Having all of the cameras (front, sides and rear) makes me feel safer than other cars I've owned. I also love the size and features of the screen.

I like the overall amenities of my Kona......gear shift in bad locatio

I enjoy the Kona..my first Kona ...my sixth Hyundai vehicle (owned Santa Fe...Tuscns and the original Hyundai when Hyundai was first introduced in USA (many many years ago)..It the only model at that time {small car}...I forget the name of it!!

Good, but

Vehicle is very good, only issue is that after the year and a half that i have owned this vehicle, it is now having issues with the electronics. Sometimes all of the lights turn on on the dashboard. It takes turning off the car then back on to remove them. The android auto sometimes isnt available. The dealer here in El Paso Tx has lost my confidence as ive taken it to get worked on, the tech said there was an update that they had to push but since it was already after hours he didnt get to it. He wrote down that he did do the update and said he had to put it or he would get in trouble. Anyways good car, but cars should offer a non tech versions. I would rather the car works every time than having it do weirs things every so often

cheap

when the engine shuts down, it sometimes completely shuts off and needs to be completely restarted. The radio/display is very wonky and often glitches. The windshield wipers busted pretty quickly and easily. The passenger side door has not been able to close easily on a few occasions.

I love this SUV!!! It’s so much fun to drive!

I really didn’t know what to expect buying this Hyundai Kona coming from a V8 Chevy Camaro was a hard transition, but it’s been really fun driving it. I do miss my power, but the gas mileage has made up for it..
