Loving my Kona

I recently leased a 2025 Kona. I love the style of the build and the beautiful big screen inside the car. I love the self diagnosis feature and the ability to create driver profiles. The only down side is that the car doesnt pick up speed very well and burns through gas fast. But other than that I do recommend it as it feels very safe to drive.

Perfect for me!

I have only driven Hyundai for 30 years and have loved them all. I replaced a Tucson that I was leasing with my Kona. I loved the Tucson but my lease was up and I decided as a retired person I didn’t need a vehicle that large. The Kona is absolutely perfect for me! Perfect size and even more features!

High Tech

I love my new Kona. I was attracted to it because of the dashboard, which is very high tech. (My previous OLD car did not have GPS, android auto, or Sirius radio.) This new Kona has all of these plus every safety alert I could possibly ask for. I love having the speed limit on my dash and the compass. The only thing it's missing is a hook for a handicap pass (I use a hair tie). Everyone loves the cyber gray color.

I wish I got more information about my 2025 Kona. I have different features than older ones that they show about Kona, like videos in emails, even the Kona book.

Slow exclamation and communication.

I love so much about this car. My biggest complaint is it is slow to accelerate, to get on the freeway you have to push the RPMs to almost 4. Also there is slow response from the gas pedal to the engine. It seems like there is a lag between pushing the gas and the engine responding. Also noticed when I have it in cruise control, the speed varies up and down 3-5 phone from the mph selected. This vehicle is supposed to be able to tow upto 2866 lbs. I am hard pressed to believe it can tow even a couple hundred more lbs.
