The Kona is so easy to drive and so comfortable, there’s lots of space in the back, does great in bad weather, I love it!

Dangerous car

I purchased a 2026 Hyundai Kona in September 2025. In April 2026, while parking, the vehicle malfunctioned. As I released the brake, the Kona unexpectedly accelerated, crossed the curb, and struck a building, resulting in a total loss. This incident has caused significant financial loss, as my insurer, Progressive, deemed me at fault. I have incurred substantial expenses replacing the vehicle and now face increased insurance premiums. I have contacted Parkway Hyundai and Hyundai Corporate, but neither they nor Progressive will investigate my claim.

Could be better for the price

The cars runs horribly on bumps. The location of the steering wheel is such that the right elbow can't relax on the console. I am short and must drive close to the pedals. The entire design internally needs a complete makeover. A telescopic steering wheel would help.

First Hyundai

Got this for my wife back in May; never considered one until we test drove it, and the price was within our budget. This car changes my mind about Hyundai for sure!

Love our new Hyundai Kona

We are very happy with our 2026 Kona. Easy to drive, has a lot of features we didn't have on our 15 year old cars, which we traded in. Feel it is a safe car and it just what we need for our short trips around our area since we are retired.

A little disappointed

I bought this car after owning another Hyundai (Elantra) for almost 14 years. The Kona lacks adequate console storage and glovebox storage. I’m also disappointed in how much of this vehicle seems to be constructed of cheap plastic.

Good car.... Not for seniors maybe...

I find that to get in the door, I have to lower the seat enough that I don't see as much as I would wish driving. I feel like I am way too short in the seat.
