No automatic or remote trunk opener

Wished I would’ve caught that before I bought it. There is no button inside the car to push so that the trunk will open, or on the key fob. When I asked the salesman about it, he didn’t know how to open it either other than manually going to the truck and opening it.

Lack of power even when you change it to sports.

Very good on safety and security features but lack of power/energy when driving to a high speed roads/freeways. Not too much fun to drive.

No spare tire or jack

The Kona is nice, but the dumbest thing you people did, was to exclude the spare tire and jack, what the hell were you thinking.i go on occasional road trips and I sure as hell don’t want to sit on the side of the road, when I’m capable of changing a tire. The worst part is that you don’t even offer it after sale. My last Hyundai !!!

Perfect Midsize Vehicle

Upgraded from 2006 Hyundai Sonata to the 2026 Hyundai Kona this year. Aside from the obvious upgrade in technology and features, I was looking for a reliable midsized vehicle. The Kona was my favorite of all brands I test drove in a similar size. Smooth ride, luxury details/features at a great cost, upgrade in gas mileage for me. I love my Kona, just wish I had purchased it sooner!
