2026 Hyundai Kona Limited
I’ve owned my 2026 Hyundai Kona Limited for a while now, and overall I’ve been really happy with it. I spent a lot of time comparing it to other small SUVs before buying it, and I still feel like I made the right choice.
The first thing that stood out to me was how nice the interior is. It honestly doesn’t feel like an entry-level SUV. The seats are comfortable, and I love having both heated and ventilated front seats. The two large digital screens make the cabin feel modern, and everything is easy to use. I also use Apple CarPlay every day, and it’s been reliable.
The ride has been smoother than I expected. It’s comfortable enough for my daily commute and handles highway trips without any issues. The turbo engine has plenty of power when I need it. It doesn’t feel slow getting onto the interstate or passing other cars, and I’ve been impressed with the fuel economy considering the performance.
One of my favorite features is all of the safety technology. Adaptive cruise control makes longer drives much less tiring, and the blind-spot cameras and parking cameras have been incredibly useful. The Bose sound system also sounds much better than I expected for a vehicle in this price range.
That said, it isn’t perfect.
The back seat can feel cramped if you’re carrying adults very often. Kids fit just fine, but taller passengers have mentioned they wish there was a little more legroom. The cargo area is also on the smaller side. It’s enough for groceries, backpacks, and everyday errands, but packing for a family vacation takes a little planning.
I also think some of the driver-assistance features are a little too eager. Every now and then the lane-keeping system or driver attention warnings will chime when I don’t think they need to. It’s not a deal-breaker, but it can get a little annoying until you adjust the settings.
Another small complaint is all the glossy black trim inside.
Overall, though, I’ve been very satisfied with my Kona Limited. It’s comfortable, loaded with features, easy to drive, and feels like a vehicle that costs more than it actually does. No car is perfect, but the positives definitely outweigh the negatives for me. If someone asked whether I’d buy it again, my answer would absolutely be yes.
