Love our new Hyundai Kona

We are very happy with our 2026 Kona. Easy to drive, has a lot of features we didn't have on our 15 year old cars, which we traded in. Feel it is a safe car and it just what we need for our short trips around our area since we are retired.

A little disappointed

I bought this car after owning another Hyundai (Elantra) for almost 14 years. The Kona lacks adequate console storage and glovebox storage. I’m also disappointed in how much of this vehicle seems to be constructed of cheap plastic.

Good car.... Not for seniors maybe...

I find that to get in the door, I have to lower the seat enough that I don't see as much as I would wish driving. I feel like I am way too short in the seat.

2026 Hyundai Kona Sport

My car was purchased on July 25th 2026 since then its been to the dealership for a total of 18 days for what was identified as a faulty front camera. The Kona would disengage cruise control on the highway and suddenly reduce speed by 10 mph a total of fifteen times in a one dsy trip to NW Missouri from Gretna NE.

Won’t complain!

I’m still not used to the arm for the gears shifting and it is so many things that turn on the emergency brakes that whenever I drive I always expect the light to come on when I exit the vehicle.

It's a Kona

Great styling. Fabulous interior, with all controls thoughtfully placed. The seats are very comfortable. The amount of interior space is amazing. The engine is powerful, although it does lag at first when accelerating from low speed up a steep hill. I think this is called "turbo lag". Acceleration around town and on the highway is more than adequate, and the gas mileage has met my expectations. No buyer's remorse here.
