Hyundai palisade calligraphy

I had purchased a 2026 grand Highlander hybrid vehicle, having put a deposit down on it. My trade-in was in the shop still, for a few days, so I stopped by the Hyundai dealer and test drove the vehicle. I had never been in a Hyundai, let alone drive one. In a 20 minute test drive it was clear that the Hyundai Palisade Calligraphy was leaps and bounds better than the 2026 Toyota grand Highlander hybrid. Maybe the only thing it lacked was a little better gas mileage compared to the Toyota. I now have 7000 miles in the car since purchasing it in November, I am very happy with it. One thing that could use improvement is the software download process into the vehicle over the Internet. It’s kind of buggy. A smoother download process would be good. I had a download, not go fully through, and then my whole dashboard was going off and on as I drove several hours until I had to stop and sit there and do the download manually while the car was running.

The Perfect Luxury Family SUV

The new Palisade has additions and changes worthy enough to be considered a 2nd generation. Small changes to comfort and ergonomics were taken into account while upgrading the tech and features.

Great vehicle, but some issues

Really like the car. Unfortunately, am taking it in for the fourth time in 3 months for issues. Check engine light twice due to front motorized vents. Kills its own battery if I install the digital key and spend the day in the garage near the vehicle. Random oil issue warning. Two recalls so far.

The vehicle rides great. Just a few flaws to be considered

The location to utilize the flash drive for music should be in a hidden area. More hidden space is needed. Larger cargo in rear. More depth of area in rear cargo are needed. More light on left driver's side to view light switch. Hvn't seen great gas mileage in comparison to other hybrid vehicles

Rough release

The second month my vehicle was in shop for 2 weeks because front bumper harness was corroded. Then upon replacement they noticed rear bumper harness was also corroded. Had to bring it back in for that replacement. The drive assist sensors are still not working correctly. I do love the look and space of interior.

Went dead after not driving for two weeks, unable to remote start .

I had surgery and didn’t drive the car for two weeks and it was completely dead when I tried to start it. I called Hyundai and they sent out AAA , jump started it. He found the starter battery in the back and said it was only 40%. Someone at Hyundai cancelled my advanced Bluelink service that is supposed to be free for life for original owners. I spent two hours on the phone with Hyundai getting it reinstated temporarily.

Very comfortable, disappointing mpg

Palisade Calligraphy HEV. Wonderful vehicle with quiet ride, lots of driver enhancements and plenty of room. We have put on approximately 4500 miles on the vehicle and averaged 24 mpg. 60/40 city vs highway miles.

Love the vehicle. Love the look, the ride, the interior design. My only issue is the warranty with the back row seats. I'm fortunate not to have young children to have to worry about this but I want this issue resolved.

I like it

It’s a beautiful truck. It’s a good in gas and comfortable. I understand that is a new model and when this happened you have to fix problems. I already went twice to the dealer and I know I have to go again for new recalls., I know you are doing the best to resolve this. I really like the car and I will recommend it to anybody.
