Hybrid Palisade Review

Vehicle is nice and well finished on the interior. Lots of features. Some of the auto safety features are a little clunky. It is quite noticeable that in cooler and snowy weather, many of the features stop working, which is a problem.

Luxury with glitches

Issues with console lights flickering in the middle of the day. False readings on the automatic start through the app that says the car started and I got out to a frozen vehicle that never started. The automatic wipers and Lane keep assist can be erratic.

Great Ride

This vehicle has been one of the best rides that I've ever owned and I've owned many many vehicles. I do have a small complaint and it does not keep the seat settings for each driver. Maybe it's something I'm doing wrong, but I don't think so other than that, and the fact that the I don't know what's called does not self-driving mode, but the self-driving mode really purposes down the highway. I need to fix that. That's not very comfortable. Other than that, the car's been great.

Love the whole package SEL Premium

I have drive almost coast to coast for each holiday and it is a dream to drive and ride my two teens love it too. Almost 14k miles and its 2nd oil change and I couldn't be happier between 30-34 mpg for my long drives.

Great Value

(Calligraphy Trim)The vehicle has a very smooth ride and is a premium experience without the price. If you took all the branding off, I would have thought it was a top tier luxury brand. It has more features than one knows what to do with. I would suggest looking at a YouTube reviewer on the features if you are so inclined. The front end took a while to get use to but once it grows on you, it's nice.

My first HEV

I had a tucson before that for 3 years only issue I had was a battery issue and was overall satisfied with Hyundai. When it was time to expand I decided to stick with Hyundai as I test drove the palisade and liked the comfort, performance and economy of the hybrid. Very spacious suv and nice tech in there.

New hybrid palisade

Overall love the car, but a few key issues have left me wondering about long term reliability. Functionality of cup holders is an issue. Door holders are too small for water bottles. Driver and passenger cup holders are bigger than average bottle leaving room for spills.

Poor gas milage

This is my 3rd Palisade starting with a 2021 Limited, then a 2025 Calligraphy, and finally the 2026 Calligraphy Hybrid AWD. I selected the hybrid for 2 reasons, one being the increased gas mileage and the 2nd was the increased horsepower. While reasonably pleased with the performance, I'm terribly dissatisfied with the vehicle mileage. The 29 city/30 highway sticker estimate is way off as I'm getting approximately 27 locally, but only about 24 on the highway(Gas mileage was calculated using mileage and actual fuel consumed). Hyundai of Jefferson City service says there's nothing they can do since the vehicle is not indicating any problem issues. I can assure you it's not the way I drive the vehicle. Both of my previous Palisades got better MPG than the EPA estimates.

LOVE our hybrid Palisade!

We had a gasoline only Palisade for a few years and decided to upgrade to a hybrid. This year was the perfect time to do it since Palisade came out with a hybrid! We’ve had the best luck so far! It’s been 3 months and we’re still loving everything about it. The inside is so spacious and the gas mileage is awesome! All of the tech gadgets are wonderful too. The steering column is my least favorite. I’d much rather have regular push buttons but apparently they think it’s so great. Otherwise, everything is just wonderful!
